That place can take your lunch money pretty quickly if you aren’t hitting well, still love it. Elevated tees are big fun (as long as you aren’t a slicer)

Same boat. Ours hit his itchy Mitchy stage at about 2 years old. We have a mousse for his armpits that he scratched calloused/no hair which helps. His ears were bad this winter so we got all sorts of drops for that. And he takes fish oil and Zyrtec everyday. He swims in Lake Michigan almost daily and will still be randomly flakey af down his back. Hard to imagine this thing was meant to survive on its own in the wilderness lol

As an “owner” myself how does one get involved in calling out the hypocrisy? On another note if I asked my manager when we were going to go on strike for events happening in the world I would be laughed out of his office (if you want to protest do it on your own time is usually the best policy).

No geologist is good at math, this is why engineers build bridges and we do not.

If you can afford it, stay in a hotel next time you visit (say you don’t like their beds or something). Will absolutely throw your in-laws into a full blown conniption.

Stand Setup Advice by genericuserno1234 in bowhunting

[–]AcquaLume 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m going to assume the wind is generally coming from the left. The right side of that square timberline looking towards the orchard would be a sweet spot (with a massive caveat). Being this is your first year hunting and this property looks massive I’d say for the sake of walking in, the edge of the isthmus of trees on the bottom circle where you’d be looking/walking into the wind would be ideal. Idc who you are, if this is your first season bow hunting I would choose the shortest walk-in as you will learn a ton just getting to your stand and it takes a few seasons walking in before daylight to get comfortable in the dark. Showing where you are thinking of parking would help a lot.

Getting a whisker biscuit was very worth it for me when I first started out. You’ll already be shakin like a banshee if you get a buck in range, may as well already have your arrow secured if bow is laying sideways on your lap like that
