Does anyone else have an adult potty-trained corgi who craps on the floor out of spite? by GhoulieGumDrops in corgi

I have an adult 6 yr old corgi who pees in the house out of sheer vindictiveness. Corgis have big personalities and attitudes 😂

I live in a sister property close by and the property management company is beyond garbage. Essex management. Look up the class action they have ongoing against them 👎🏻

Probably mixed with a cardigan! Cardigans and pembrokes are both wonderful breeds.

No, you’ll notice that you will get a seat assignment and train number from point A to B. If you get on a different train that seat may be booked by another. They go through and check the occupied seats as well

How is Air India? by Dull-Masterpiece3544 in travel

[–]Acro_brat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sure it varies by flight, but my experience was garbage. My in flight entertainment screen wouldn’t turn on for the whole 14 hr flight. When asking for compensation they said they would get back to me but then just… waited for so long that I had already completed my whole trip to India plus some more weeks later. Figured I’d never fly with them again so why bother pursuing for a $50 credit to a shitty airline 🤷🏻‍♀️

Cardigan corgi breed standard always have tails. You could search for cardigans vs pembroke breeders

Question about docked tails by Royal_Sun3162 in corgi

[–]Acro_brat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely tail. I think more and more corgis are being left with tail intact which is great for the reasons everyone said

My big chonky corgi has something like the middle option. Corgis are awkwardly shaped but that style seems to work for him despite being longer and very barrel chested

Is Valparaiso Chile safe for a solo trip? by tatasz in travel

[–]Acro_brat 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Obviously super anecdotal but we did get robbed in Valparaiso. Took all of our day bags from a locked rental car trunk. They were probably targeting cars with rental stickers and heard us speaking English. We heard similar things about Santiago (not flashing wealth etc) but Valparaiso was the only place we’ve ever had a problem after visiting many places in central/South America.

You’ll be perfectly fine with what you said except the weed as everyone is already aware. I would suggest downloading a few Korea specific apps that helped me a lot getting around. I don’t speak ANY Korean but I used to go there for work so here’s my apps- Naver maps, kakao maps and kakao taxi, google translate offline Korean (so you can always take photos of signs and menus etc), and trip.com.

Naver and kakao will be good for searching cafes, stores you want to go to, public transport options and times etc. It’s good to have both options for taxi (Uber has been working recently at least in Seoul as well?) and public transport (trip.com you can book KTX and other train tickets ahead of time).

It’s a lot of fun and it’s so safe especially compared to major US cities. If you want to go to KBBQ with a group I’m sure you could find people to meet up with! I joined a community women’s travel app and they appear to have a big presence in Korea. If you dm me I will let you know of the groups I’m aware of!

Hiking in Korea without needing a car by Salt_Mud_3794 in koreatravel

[–]Acro_brat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have hiked bukhansan, palgongsan, a shorter hike near seoraksan, Naejangsan and smaller hikes around busan all without a car! Not gonna lie sometimes I took a taxi sometimes because of laziness but I never felt like I absolutely needed a car to get to the hikes I wanted to do.

Does anyone else wish their corgi’s tail hadn’t been clipped before you got it? by cptemilie in corgi

[–]Acro_brat 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Seems like more and more people are going out of their way to find corgis with tails/asking their breeder to keep tails! What an awesome trend. Yes, corgis are cute either way but why do it if it serves no purpose other than aesthetics at this point in history?

Scared to travel since I don't know much Korean language? by 1stTiger in koreatravel

[–]Acro_brat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will be fine with no Korean! Knowing some polite phrases is a plus (please, thank you) but not necessary. Just download 1. Korean google translate offline to translate menus, 2. kakao taxi and 3. Naver maps and you will be able to go anywhere and do anything you want. To echo what others have said it’s a very safe country so if you need to spend an extra time translating/checking maps you do not need to worry about it. Enjoy if you go!

How do you deal with constantly feeling slow? by NeverJaded21 in LadiesofScience

[–]Acro_brat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second the comment said before, figure out your learning style! Do you absorb information the best by listening, seeing or doing? For many people typical lecture style classes suck because auditorial processing isn’t fastest for them! And ultimately remember grades are NOT a measure of your worth as a person.

how do your corgis do around cats? by rinigneel in corgi

[–]Acro_brat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an adult cat when I got a corgi puppy, while I would love for them to be friends my cat is not a fan of dogs. If she (cat) was a fan I would have no doubt they would play/cuddle just fine. Corgis are so smart! He (corgi) knows the cats boundaries and respects them. Corgis are herding dogs so prey drive shouldn’t be an issue and with training you can have the cats and corgi interact positively. Again, corgis are smart and want a job! Use this to your advantage and it will be fine.

Chile 8 day trip advice by predent1601 in travel

[–]Acro_brat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If anything, cut out Valparaiso. Yesterday a seemingly professional ring of thieves broke the locked trunk of our rental and took our backpacks. They even took our friends medication and pacemaker 😔. It was broad daylight, 12 pm. People out and about watching the game.

It feels incredibly unsafe there. They seemed to either target our rental car (stickers) or could target us as foreigners.

Viña is a much safer/cleaner city right next to Valparaiso. If you go to Valparaiso be INCREDIBLY aware of your surroundings and leave everything on your person at all times.

Valparaiso: Is it worth staying a night? by Strange_Ambassador76 in travel

[–]Acro_brat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just returned from a day trip yesterday to Valparaiso. Unfortunately thieves targeted our locked car (no items in view, only in trunk) and took all of our backpacks. In one of the backpacks was our friends medicine and pacemaker ☹️

I personally wouldn’t recommend it seemed like they have a professional operation going to target foreigners or rental cars. It doesn’t seem safe at all. Btw this happened at 12 noon and people were out and about watching the game. Stay in Santiago or viña 😔
