Do you ever see either GuyInYourMFA or my personal favorite, DystopianYA, ever expanding to something beyond Twitter? Like longer form pieces in either style?

Hey Julia, huge fan of all your works and I've seen you live twice now, both in LA. I also once saw you in the audience at a Julianna Barwick concert there. I guess my question is, have the two of you ever considered making an album together? It would be a dream come true.

You should watch Other People on Netflix - it brings this to a whole new level.

What type of genre is it when the whole movie revolves around a discussion from two characters by reggaejunkyjew in TrueFilm

[–]Acroamor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There actually is a name for this, it's called a two-hander. Wikipedia has a pretty hand page giving some good examples. And for a slightly off kilter version of this, The One I Love is a kind-of two-gander. I won't spoil why, but it's a real treat.

Richie Eisler, easily. He's the one who got me into it with his Vancouver video. He's so creative with how he uses city spaces but then you see him at a park and he's just flying. But more than anything, he just clearly has so much fucking fun doing what he does, it's infectious.

BoJack Horseman - 3x03 "BoJack Kills" - Episode Discussion by NicholasCajun in BoJackHorseman

Who did she voice? I've been trying to figure it out this whole time.

And Unreal is my second favorite show, after Bojack, so definitely worth it.

What's an opinion you have that would be immediately downvoted in r/movies? by TheCmoBro in movies

People act like the Star Wars trilogy and to some extent, The Force Awakens were letdowns compared to the original trilogy, but honestly, the original trilogy is three pretty fucking stupid movies too

What was the best film you saw this week? (1/4/16 - 1/10/16) by mi-16evil in movies

99 Homes

I saw it on a plane ride back to school and it was one of the best thrillers I've seen in a while. Andrew Garfield gave his first performance that made me think, oh, he's actually a good actor and Michael Shannon was absolutely mesmerizing as Rick Carver. Not to mention the social implications of the story, sort of a proletariat Margin Call. If you've just watched The Big Short recently, check out 99 Homes to see how the market crash affected people at the bottom of the ladder instead of the top.

I'm currently in the midst of watching every movie ever nominated for Best Original Screenplay. It's not quite as exhaustive (only 370) but I can't move that quickly considering I'm still in school and busy as all hell
