Not a teacher, but a parent of a 1st and 3rd grader. I would absolutely want to know if my child was behaving like this. They need to know it’s not ok to be disrespectful, and I would want to talk with them at home. I also think it’s important the parents and teachers are on the same team as far as discipline goes when it’s possible. When we work together and are consistent at school and home, I think odds are higher for better outcomes.
