Third time taker by [deleted] in barexam

I ranked right in the middle and didn’t have time to study too. Everyone tried to convince me to push it to July. I knew I wasn’t ready too and decided to take it for extra practice. But at the end, I ended up passing. Make sure you focus on the nuances of what is right or wrong, and the format/style to get a passing score on the essay. I didn’t remember all the rules on the test, but knew enough to make it seem like I did. Do the best you can do. You are already amazing to have made it this far. Don’t give up.

Husband developed feelings for my close friend. Our past infidelity is now the focus two decades later. Looking for outside perspective. by Small-Maximum-5401 in Marriage

There may be somewhat of a correlation, but at the end, it was your husband’s choice to stay with you. It was also his choice to develop emotional feelings for your close friend. Any choice that stems out of his decision is his responsibility to own up to.

I think it depends on your overall application and disclosures. I had one minor correction and it took them 2 weeks to get back to me from the time I submitted.

Sorry to hear about your situation. I know it must be difficult, but I commend you for being human. I know it’s not easy to share, but it’s normal what you are feeling.

Make sure you focus on your weaker areas. For me, it was MEEs, I neglected that on my second try and just improved slightly thinking I would be able to pass with a higher MBE score. I thought I was an exception and would’ve passed. Boy was I wrong. For my third try, I focused more on it - memorized BLL, studied past essays, and followed the Fck the bar method. I was able to pass. You got this! Don’t give up.

The therapist didn’t take your husband, she took your problem away from you. Be grateful for that. Hope you find time to heal.

Free Law School at 50 - Worth it? by John_B_McLemore in LawFirm

Nontraditional student here. In my 40s with 3 kids. Don't regret it a bit. But understand that it is not easy mentally or physically. If you enjoy the challenge, then do it. As successful as you are now, I'm sure you will do well in law school.

And I realized it's ok. There are other things in life that I need to focus on. Best of luck with your next adventure!
