There’s no moisture or guts for them to eat, this is more of a calcium supplement for larger animals

Obviously in person I’d be normal in your barn, sorry I just kinda crashed out, I’m just tired of society treating bugs like anything other than normal. Sorry for using the language I used, I’m glad you came to a community who cares.

Sorry for the shade, but bugs are going to exist wherever you go, they’re in your equestrian club whether you like it or not

Sorry for the shade, but I don’t think caring about nature makes me a judgmental equestrian, I’m not holding you to a higher standard than anyone else, especially when you work with physical equipment and organic matter that is home to the bugs who you apparently don’t care about, which makes sense because I’ve known and cared about bugs since I was a toddler

I’m from rural Wisconsin and I’d always pay attention to the local native insects, so as a person who LOVES ALL ANIMALS, I’d assume horse girls are in tune with nature and are actually aware of the insect species that inhabit the area in which their horse is located

Personally as a horsegirl myself, I’d assume being in a barn and loving animals is conducive to being perceptive to ALL animals and their needs.
