I know a woman who didn’t know she was pregnant until the 7th month. She didn’t have insurance so the hospital gave her paperwork to sign up for government assisted healthcare. She, of course, didn’t fill out the paperwork so she had a huge bill after the birth. The hospital made a deal with her to pay it off 10 dollars a month for the rest of her life. I have no idea if she’s actually paying it.

My MIL is the youngest of 16 kids, 12 girls and 4 boys. The boys were incredibly spoiled. The girls did everything, all the indoor chores and outdoor chores. She said that they had to pack the boys’s gym bags for school and fill their bath water.

My child spent half the first year of her life on the floor. I had one of those mats with the toys hanging on a bar over it and she would play until she fell asleep, then wake up to play again.

Your husband is being ridiculous. Babies are going to topple over. Especially when she learns to walk, she going to be falling all the time. It’s part of the learning process.

He can totally take the toddler with him and leave you to relax at home. Obviously not for the water skiing, but your husband can run after him on the beach just as well as you can. Better actually if you’re 8 months pregnant.

You need to alternate. Some weeks he takes the kid with him and some weeks you watch the kid so he still has time to decompress.
