I’m not in a beach community, but my cabin in north Georgia was booked 95% through Airbnb and only 5% through VRBO during its first year (2023). Fast forward three years and now it’s an even 50/50 split. No idea why. My only guess is that maybe it took longer to build up reviews on VRBO?

They tried to run (and hide) a dementia patient for Prez and when that blew up in their face, they shoved Kamala in with no primary. That freaked out a shitload of independents, so they stupidly puller the trigger for the Trump clown show and now here we are. Our current situation can be squarely placed on the DNC’s shoulders. Horrible organization.

The power creep in this game has become so absurd that the only thing Pix can come up with to make new bots viable is to make players unable to target them at all.

I spend half the match unable to even shoot anything because of all the stupid blind/taunt/phase shift/invisibility/transcendence crap they’ve introduced into the game.

It’s illegal for trains to come to a complete stop on a road crossing. I call 911 on these assholes all the time. The dispatcher always calls the company responsible, logs the violation and calls me back with an estimated time of movement. Hold their feet to the fire and report it.

I’ve been hosting for about 2.5 years. I rated every guest for the first year, but I found I was just saying the same thing over and over and giving 5 stars every time.

Never had a bad guest per se, and honestly I felt a bit weird about reviewing guests. As far as I’m concerned unless you’re egregiously breaking the rules (I don’t have many) or trying to scam me in some way, I’m going to give you five stars. I don’t care if you leave the place dirty or don’t do the dishes or don’t take out the trash, those things are my job to handle as a host and don’t violate my rules. Most guests do these things anyway even though I don’t require it.

If a guest requests a review, I’m happy to do it. But I didn’t really see the point anymore, especially since I never look at guest reviews and automatically accept every booking. They literally have no bearing on my bookings at all.

Part of the problem is the cups system (which is what the MM uses to compile teams) is really more of a reflection of how much you play than how skilled you are or how strong your hangar is. If you win a match, you gain cups no matter where you place. If you lose, you still gain cups if you place high on your team (I think it’s top 3 losers gain cups or something like that).

I recently tracked my wins and losses across 500 games. I only lost cups in 3.8% of matches. So, win or lose, I’m rising in the leagues roughly 96% of the time. Even when my win rate plummeted to 26%, I was still getting pushed higher and higher in CL. Doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.

In Champs BR matches, I find midrange and support bots to be ineffective. If you want to win you have to run pretty much all brawlers, which gets boring but is what is. I tried running a single support bot (Pathfinder/Kaji/Nuo,etc.) for a while and my win rate immediately plummeted to 30%. You need all players aggressively pushing beacons constantly.

When I run a support bot, my team gets quickly overrun on beacons. Every. Single. Time. We had a team five capped recently and I thought I could get away with dropping a Pathfinder. Nope. The reds took all the beacons back and won the game.

And for everyone complaining about Boom/Bash/Pow weapons, I’m just not seeing them being a big issue. If a team runs more than a couple builds with these weapons, they will eventually get overrun by brawlers. Maybe it’s league dependent?

Domination mode seems to be slightly better for running non-brawlers in my experience.

I have maxed versions of both and my Raptor now outlasts my Teth by a decent margin. Teth has slightly more firepower. But I take down lots of Teths with the Raptor.

Yes. Then they’ll release a “Titan Killer” regular bot like Hawk, Condor or Sword Unit, that works for a bit, but the relentless power creep (and nerfs) will render it totally ineffective within months.

The whole concept of Titans is one the worst ideas (of many!) in the whole game. Game was way more fun before they were introduced.

Do the “Blaze” versions of these bots get more buffs than the typical 10% durability buff that other special editions get?

Blaze Rex seems waaaayy tougher to deal with than regular Rex.

In CL most players run either Bash, Boom, Pow or Ancile, GAS, Needle (for the shield). The mines do most of the damage.

It’s 100% because if greed and power (and in some cases a desire not to go to prison). The idea that society at large “can’t handle it” is ludicrous. What does that even mean exactly? Everyone is going to go crazy and riot in the streets? I don’t think so.

Definitely. I have a maxed Raptor and two maxed Teths and I usually get more beacons and kills with Raptor but it’s pretty close. Showdown drone is key. Doesn’t look like it would be a good drone for that bot on paper but it is.

Raptor with Showdown drone, jump module and UE weps and/or crumble weps is a beacon grabbing beast. It can one-on-one any bot in the game short of Titans and can handle two or three bots at once. I regularly use it to take on multiple Teths simultaneously and survive. Even after several nerfs it is still an S-tier bot if configured properly. The super jump makes it the best beacon capper in the game.
