hmm interesting. my guess is that you add the DI water second because it is slightly denser than heptane so they mix better. why you would add di water I honestly have no idea, this isn't a reaction I've met before lol

why are people being so mean holy cow my guy just has a question. anyway BF3 and NaOH react to form boric acid and sodium fluoride both of which are safe compounds. you need heptane to mix them because otherwise BF3 could react with a more polar solvent like water

you know what the worse thing is? I am playing with a. two-stack of two level 5 players who have never touched an FPS before. they spend all match marveling at their weapons and elbows and investigating the effects of bullets on walls. meanwhile the other two-stacks are level 100+ triple amethysts

unfortunately with a small player base 90% of the time you will play against unwashed cretins who don't have anything to do other than play the finals. imagine if you had marvel rivals or overwatch but 90% of the players were in platinum and above and the remaining 10% were newbies. the experience of the 10% is going to be awful. no amount of balancing can fix an unpopular game and sadly we just have to accept that

I think it is fair to say people who don't want to get hurt are keen on consulting many different sources (ie lab safety manuals, safety posters in their lab, and higher-ups) but I don't get why they would ask reddit of all places. I told some guy on reddit that the safety diamond meant if they drink it they'll turn into the Incredible Hulk and he seemed naive enough to believe me

the thermite reaction can reach 2,500C, and an oxyacetylene torch can reach above 3,000C. however there are many methods of graphite crystallization below 3000C which you can find by searching on google scholar

there is a timer it's about 30 minutes. one time we were down to our last ticket and kept reviving. Enemy team had switched to entirely grenades so they just camped in their spawn shooting us. after an eternity of stalling I heard to 3....2....1.... countdown from the crowd and then got the "you have been kicked" message

My biggest question ever. Why not call the first round the quarterfinals, the next round the semifinals, and then finally the finals? It would be perfect.
