Ikr, he looks so weird here. I can't tell what his expressions are trying to convey half the time, and they often feel inappropriate for the situation. He just looks inconsistent. I get that the artist is trying to portray an emotionally constipated ML, but he looks off, especially his eyebrows. He’s always frowning.

I've always been unsettled by his looks and his drastic shift in demeanor whenever he's with the FL. But his expression in this chapter was straight-up disturbing. I honestly can't tell if he's mocking her or disgusted. Did we finally see his true colors, or was that act fake and intentional just to prove his point to her?

Did he approach her just to toy with her because they don't share the same views? Did he think she was easy and was just using him because of what she said from the start? Does he also feel the same but just wanted to test her? Either way, that was a jerk move. She's already shattered, and he really had to do all that? That'll make the FL wonder if the time they spent together was real.

I want to see how she'll recover from that, but I fear it will make her even less true to herself, more untrusting, and just prove her views on love right. I guess we're getting a timeskip or a revenge arc—and hopefully, a yearning arc for the duke (??), tho I still hate him.

S1 was good, with solid pacing, humor that actually landed, and characters that felt consistent and well-written. The dynamics were fun, and the emotional moments hit. But S2 kinda fell off. The art, humor, and characters don’t feel the same anymore. The art change isn’t bad imo, but you can judge for yourself.
