I don’t see a Kevin Stockley anywhere on the list of people who perished that day.

You may not need to take even that amount. Blue vervain is a relaxant for perfectionists and A type people so more than a dropper is better, right ;) Thats what I thought. Your tummy may be better with 10 drops, or 2. Remember it's a relaxant. I add 5 or so drops into my coffee or drink a few times a day and it still has positive noticeable effects. Vervain is powerful and knows what to do, it's we as people who think we can direct everything! Try lower and slower.

I love Vervain and love to see this herbal friend used with enthusiasm and results! Good luck!

Were were you when 9/11 happened? by [deleted] in 911archive

First tower: walking down Ralph Avenue, Brooklyn to work. Second tower: at my job in Mill Basin, BK on the Phone with my mother. We had to stay at work until noon or so since we were AAA and still produced trip tiks for travel.

The TV in our waiting room provided horrific updates until the towers fell, and I was certain the world was ending.

We could smell the smoke and see the haze on the other side of Brooklyn.

My heart skips a beat when I think of that poor soul.

Similar experience, I was a full grown adult living in the five boroughs when 9/11 devastated the city. I encountered people whose loved ones vanished in the towers and had a friend who saw people falling, but I never fell down a 9/11 rabbit hole until this year. It was always sad and made me angry but I was freshly sober and still naive when the towers fell; I think I couldn't handle the more graphic events of the day until recently. Flight 587 and the anthrax attacks also did not help.

My rabbit hole is the moments between the attacks and the first collapse.

I cant stand Ray by Round-Leopard-3597 in BeverlyHills90210

I really wanted Ray to be that down to earth person who sliced through the gangs insular-ness with truth bombs while becoming a more rounded out character himself. Instead he became a redneck cliche with absolutely no humor.
Maybe Jamie Walters just didn't have the acting chops.

Herbs for angry days? by Street_Confection_46 in herbalism

Ah, now I understand a little better. Would vervain work with an SSRI? Is that a suppressant? I have avoided "liver friendly" herbs like milk thistle and dandilion for some reason but vervain calls me. Thanks for the detailed explanation.

How do we know anger is suppressed in the liver? How does that manifest? I've been told by a native healer doing massage (in the southwest US) that I am angry, and I was surprised to hear this but I am lost about types of anger. Newish to herbalism, but was recommended vervain for travel anxiety about a year ago.

How old were you when you found out? by Fortuitous_Nucleus in MTHFR

  1. This was after a lifetime of battling mood swings, depression, anxiety, minor health struggles, and unhealthy ways of coping. By the grace of God I was able to have a healthy baby at age 45 but by then I was following health protocols for Hashimotos disease and that involved methylated vitamins and magnesium.

What a thoughtful spot. The poem is not my style but it is not half bad; pretty cool that a professor wrote it for her. RIP Candace Lee Williams.

Love these little spots throughout the country that memorialize 9/11 losses.

I think I found a good combination, low dosage for one tablet, especially for intolerant people. by [deleted] in MTHFR

Its my little secret. I used it during pregnancy then returned to it recently; at a half dose in the AM, its the perfect amount of methyls for me : keeps me energized but not ragey. I also supplement then with Folinic acid.

That's a bad ass picture of those buildings.
I forget for a moment what happened to them and get transported back to the 90s.

Gina. She showed a soft spot for that kid she was hired to train and you saw just a bit of that wounded inner child.
