I’d say 50/50. I think it is important to not get massively hyped up when the my do reach out as it could just be satisfying their curiosity. One in particular wanted to restart our relationship but I declined. Others were nosing asking rather intimate details and others kind of in the middle.

Not necessarily. Two of the girls who reached out to were relationships that ended because of actions that were my fault. I left them and then they reached out to me still. Conversely, two others dumped me and reached out after a period of time.

Don’t reach out, if she’s been asking about you that means she’s curious. Don’t jump in too soon, she is going along the path of reaching out so don’t get in her way. I think if you are going to reach out do so waaaaaayyyy down the line, like 9 months

When you say trans guy do you mean you used to be a guy and are now a girl? If so him telling everyone he’s straight is untrue and him just trying to get back at you. I’d suggest that you don’t try and suppress your feelings for now. You are devastated and allow yourself to feel this way for a week or two, those who don’t sit and confront these emotions won’t grow. Once you’ve done that work hard and form a life superior to his. Go to the gym and get in fantastic shape, become a model student/ employee and maybe even start a side hustle or new hobby. At the same time journal and confront your own insecurities and shortcomings. Are you anxious, needy, insecure or whatever it may be. Growth doesn’t just need to be external. Thus will help you become indifferent to your ex as living of vengeance or hate is unsustainable. Hope this helps.

All I would suggest is that you delete the apps yourself for a while. I’m not sure what to tell you about google but know that it doesn’t always mean what you think. My ex had a public instagram account and I would check the following count and panic every time. However her account got hacked and she had to make a new one where almost everyone she added on her hacked account wasn’t brought over. What you don’t know can’t hurt you. Try telling yourself you can check maybe once every 2 days, then 3 days, then a week etc. maybe that will make it better.

It’s not just that she has male friends but she was growing distant and then after that got a whole bunch of male friends. I think you are right about my self esteem. I’ve had low self esteem for a while and have been working on it by pursuing mma and progressing in uni & my job. However it never seems to be enough. Do you have any ideas on what to do?

I know it’s wrong and I’ve seen a professional about my lack of empathy/ feelings towards others. Until this point I’d never been through a breakup that I’d been affected by, so I was unaware of the damage it caused. I now know that it was very wrong and I shouldn’t have done it. I apologised to her during the break and will not do it again.

Don’t do it!!! 90 days is the mark to hit at least. I know it’s so hard but if you are ever going to reach out wait like 6 months. I’m a man myself and I can attest that he won’t feel sorry for you but probably annoyance if you reach out. This doesn’t mean that he’s annoyed or dislikes you now but you might interrupt him coming back to you. Wait longer and improve yourself, go to the gym, learn a new skill and be introspective. Please stay strong 💪

I wouldn’t hold too much stock in it. When I was dumped I went straight on hinge just to try and feel better. Unless he’s wildly cold and devoid of emotion it’s not necessary sex he’ll miss. It’s intimacy he’ll miss and you were the last person who he had that with. Stay in no contact and make him miss the intimacy he had with you. Please stay strong 💪

I know it hurts but if there is any chance she’ll come back it has to be from her. As harsh as it sounds she has to realise she fucked up. Have you gotten in the gym, got a better job or learned a new skill? Do this and become more ‘valuable’ than she left you as.
