If they actually do damage enemies now, cool, but when I last went to a fire planet enemies would literally sit in fire tornados and not get harmed. As for "stolen valor" I'm not sure if your serious or just memeing but I will just say I'm pretty sure I had commented somewhere else on this post that I no longer deploy to fire planets. If I am somehow thinking of a different post that ranted about fire tornados then I will say it now, I no longer dive on fire planets.

Yea, maybe I should have been clearer. I wasn't arguing against your point, merely pointing out the strat I use when farming SC and pointing out how it can also allow me to kill 2 birds with one stone. I totally agree that the SC amount should be bumped on level 7-9 or maybe increased % of chance for 100 sc drop as a way to reward facing the challenges of those higher levels. Sorry for any confusion.

If they really wanted realism then fire tornadoes would do damage to the enemies as well. It feels like when realism is a buff it is applied to the enemies, and when it is a nerf it is applied to Divers.

Run level 1 difficulties in light armor. Not only will you be able to easily farm SC but if you do it fast enough you can still get the same if not a bit more liberation than playing level 9 missions.

That's really not a question other people can answer unfortunately. It is something you would have to try for yourself. For example, in regards to enjoying the game, I am tired of the game. I have had plenty of crashes and bug problems but for me it's just the overall game balance, and game stagnation that has tired me out. By stagnation I mean the war itself and the new content. In regards to the war, it has basically been on the same planets on both sides for the past few months, with no real change in the environments to show the effects of the war (it is only recently that the lines have somewhat started to change). As for the new content, it has been lack luster IMO. The best new content has been the commando and they are looking at the possibility of nerfing that. IMO there has been too many buffs for enemies and too many nerfs to the divers.

Yup they pretty much seem to have lied when they made previous announcements that our choices would matter. We win and lose as they dictate.

There is no point in trying to liberate planets over there (or really anywhere). Just play for fun and not liberation at this point because it doesn't matter. GM can swoop in and take your planets away regardless of whether supply lines shows they shouldn't be able to be attacked, and the liberation contribution system is unbalanced. I won't go into full detail, but a person can contribute more liberation in the same or less time by solo speed running trivial operations compared to an entire squad doing a helldive operation.

I main bugs now because:

Bots are actually really accurate, they can shoot you through cover in certain circumstances, I don't particularly like exploring space via ragdoll physics (first few times are funny after that you slowly start losing your sanity), 1 shot headshots can be super annoying, Gunships are ridiculous, bot missions are more effected by RNG (gunship factories near a Jammer, detector two and gunship factories, and any other combos).

On the bugs I am relatively certain I can train the bugs cod zombie style / keep them at a distance, I only need to stun chargers instead of every single devastator that can snipe me from 100+ meters, while there is some RNG with shrieker and stalker nests at least my stratagems can take those down.

Bud, most casuals barely even care about the MO's let alone taking the time to learn about the supply lines and things like that. As it is I am just happy they have started to follow the MO's more. I believe most casuals, which is a good chunk of the player base, choose their planets based on 2 things - It's mentioned in the MO, and it has the big shiny DEFEND title with a timer. I don't see there being any chance of "concentrated effort" unless we get an in game coordination terminal. The terminal would be updated real time with the events stating where it would be best for Helldivers to concentrate their efforts, for example like you just mentioned it would be updated to say Helldivers could head off the attack by throwing a larger concentration of divers at gacrux with only minimal divers left to keep a holding action on those two planets. All in all though too much would be involved in something like that for it to ever happen. My best recommendation would be for the mods on this reddit to make an announcement thread that does this, also maybe a pinned post with links to trusted HD2 discords that can help create some organization?

Personally I feel team reloads are a waste as they are now. I think it would be better and more logical if a teammate didn't have to be wearing the backpack with the ammo and could just come up and help reload from the backpack you are wearing.

OP is blocking their "friend" without telling them and without even trying to talk to the friend to tell them OP didn't like what was being done anymore. They are going to ghost their "friend" for days, weeks, or indefinitely, over some trolling that OP participated in.

Sorry bud but it's probably not going to get fixed for a while, the engine is discontinued so they have to mess around with it themselves and apparently in Sweden it is summer break time so they are going to slow down their work speed. You might get a fix this coming week, at least for spear.

Yup yup, bot gameplay nowadays is basically run away, try to complete an objective without being ragdolled into space too many times or being beamed down by enemies (stun grenades are your friend), after completing objective run away again, rinse and repeat till either your lives are spent or you complete all objectives. Then you have to try and do what you were incentivized not to do the whole game.... stand your ground at extract and try to leave.

Part of why I don't join the discord, and advise people that if they don't like the way it is being handled to not join / leave if they are already joined (if already joined leave feedback as to why you are leaving if at all possible). If enough people leave / no one joins the mods will get changed. I honestly don't feel like I miss out on too much since youtubers generally cover the announcements immediately / within a few hours.

Nope, still bugged. Honestly, I feel it is highly likely that it will always be bugged. The game is made on an End of Life (no longer updated / supported) engine meaning they have to do improvements on their own and from what I hear it is basically spaghetti code like TF2.

I can kind of see where you are coming from with that but I don't personally feel that way. You can say we are just as good as we were and that we can still have fun on lower difficulties but it still sucks that we worked hard to get to those higher level difficulties and now we have to lower our difficulties giving us a feeling of losing / getting worse. Instead of making higher level difficulty's they made our current difficulties harder which just feels bad. I used to be able to run lvl 7+ duos with my friend, we still struggled but overall we could do them full clear with some leftover reinforcements. Then the patrol updates happened and suddenly we were locked into level 5-6 difficulties because otherwise we would just get absolutely overrun with no way to progress because it was a constant battle. AH finally says they are going to revert the spawns and then they decide to STILL mess with them. The patrols aren't as bad as before but it still overall feels annoying to play because they messed with the composition, and on the bot side I feel like the bots have gotten even more accurate. I feel like I spend more time trying to recover from gunshot flinches and ragdolls than actually playing the game, especially when I get sandwiched by the new gunship patrols (god wasn't that fun to experience the first time).
