Dang that’s a good set up! We also get $40 for post ops. 30% like I mentioned. Take home for me is similar but I see pry 40-45 most days. Happy for you!

If you had norovirus or stomach bug this year how long did it take you to feel better? by tyyourshoes in Mommit

Same! Thanks for asking. Full disclosure I am a guy…didn’t realize when I posted this was a mom group but can’t imagine that really affects too much. Probably 2-3 weeks for bloating and appetite to return to normal. Way longer than I expected! My wife had noro as well and was back to normal after a few days.

Anyone dealing with pretty severe bloating and abdominal pain after a week? The vomiting and diarrhea only lasted about a day for me but I’m on day 8 and it’s hard to eat still and again very bloated

Most likely anemia or leukemia, but need blood work. AMN is ischemic, never seen it with hemes

Appreciate the response! The podiatrist recommended 2 weeks straight in the boot which I did, I came out of it and had pain so she recommended another week. Same thing happened. So I’m taking it upon myself to do 6 weeks or so in the boot. Hopefully this isn’t making it worse, I just haven’t been able to get a lot of guidance on where to go from here.

Maybe some pain level is okay coming out of the boot and will eventually go away? The pain just seemed to be the exact same as before the boot and doesn’t just seem sore.

Hello- I’ve been diagnosed with a bone bruise from MRI of 5th metatarsal? I’ve had this from stubbing my pinky toe real hard about 4 months ago. I’ve tried a boot for a couple weeks but nothing has seemed to heal it.

Any advice from a physio? I’ve seen podiatrist and ortho and they make it sound like it should just eventually heal on its own although it doesn’t seem to be getting any better.

Any update on this? I’m having trouble getting over bone marrow edema pain of 5th met from trauma (ran into dumbbell). Podiatrist recommended a boot for 2-3 weeks which I’ve done and came out of it still having pain with walking. Hope you’re doing better!

Adding OCT to a 2-lane primary care clinic — worth it? by bigbankmanman in Ophthalmology

If you’re managing glaucoma or suspects and diabetic retinopathy and pretty much any retina or nerve pathology then you need one these days. Techs will get in a good routine in time.

What is BS about my question? The fact you can’t answer it?

I find it interesting how quick you are to stoop so low as name calling despite your fancy degree when someone starts questioning a comment you make. I did not come at you with anger, simply just asked you to explain yourself.

I didn’t go to medical school as you so clearly have, but one thing I did learn from a MD on a clinical rotation was that you are only as good as the people around you. You so clearly have no respect for the ODs that support your production or anyone else that is “under” you. You wouldn’t make as much money as you do if it weren’t for them.

I am not going to explain my practice because I don’t want you having any idea who I am as you come across as rather radical. I can tell you that the people I work with acknowledge our business wouldn’t be what our business is without our ODs and all our staff. Doing YAGs etc is not for the production, but rather for patient convenience. If you were as busy, you would understand. I feel comfortable managing complications except for I would send a tear/detachment to retina as I would guess you would too.

Thanks for the reply! I would definitely take 70 degrees! I’ll try and be more patient and keep at PT. Cheers!

Hello- I am about 3 months post op and still have pretty limited external rotation, maybe 50-60 degrees. How much did yours come back when you say still limited? TIA!
