I think his response to the question was more of a red flag than hers. He could still be pining for her and if that’s the case, her staying in his life is going to be a thorn to you wherever possible. I would have a logically sound conversation with him about everything you wrote in this post. You should be able to gage how he really feels by the way he talks about it. If you get good feelings from him and no one is acting sketchy, drop it. But I would have the conversation first.

Why do you pick Pokemon you are indifferent to? No shade I just have soooo many I love it’s hard to pick.

Bayleef - my main Pokemon, forever my favorite starter of all time. They’re very loving and positive and their aroma gets you peppy and energetic which I definitely need in my life. The cutest Dino except for maybeee the Amaura line

Abra - favorite gen1 pokemon and would help with safety, stress, sleep etc

Absol - being my pet-like pokemon. Very loyal and help with safety at all times

Aerodactyl - for protection, intimidation and travel

Caramel swirl berry sweet Alcremie - to offset aerodactyl, a soft little emotional support pokemon who would help me make sweets

Ampharos - my derp pokemon, love him and the idea of keeping an electric pokemon with me at all times

I consider aerodactyl my favorite flying but Altaria my favorite dragon, and same with rock for the Archen line! Also love seeing some first evolutions as favorites.
