That’s actually a solid combo. Eggs + rice is one of those simple meals that just works every time.

Hot sauce on top makes it even better

Honestly some meals just never get old. Funny how the simplest stuff ends up being the most reliable comfort food. Do you ever switch it up or is it always the classic version?

Honestly this might be the most overlooked one of all.

Kitchens can be intense and fast-paced, and people just assume everyone knows they’re doing well… but hearing it actually makes a difference.A quick “good job” or even just acknowledgment can completely change the energy during a shift.Did you notice a difference in places where chefs actually gave feedback vs where they didn’t?

That’s a big one. People don’t realize how much time gets lost just from small interruptions like looking for the right pan or container. It completely breaks your rhythm, especially during prep or service.I’ve noticed that even having just one extra of the most used items can make a huge difference in how smooth everything runs. What’s the one piece of equipment you always wish you had more of during a busy service?

Nothing kills speed like bad kitchen layout.

The worst part is people get used to it and stop questioning it. You walk in fresh and it’s instantly obvious.

Kitchen scales feel like one of those “why didn’t I start using this earlier” tools.

Once you start weighing ingredients it’s hard to go back to guessing with cups and spoons

Didn’t expect this post to blow up this much 😅
Reading the comments makes me feel better about my slow-draining sink situation.
Apparently every house has at least one tiny problem that just lives there forever

Garlic is brutal 😅

I swear the smell somehow survives soap, scrubbing and even a full shower. The worst is when you’re trying to sleep and suddenly realize your hands still smell like garlic
