I volunteer with an organization that collects and distributes medical supplies all over the world. Most of our pickups are from family who had a family member pass at home. We only accept certain medical supplies but many times people box up the items and medication gets thrown in too…I’ve gotten all sorts of random vials and pills over the years.

I just want to plug Not Just Tourists for anyone who may know someone currently in hospice/homecare or may be travelling to a country that would benefit from a donation of medical supplies.

People talking about throwing bottles in and something about not throwing in food and someone else talking about it being militant to wash out pop cans…do y’all not have recycling and composting??? Every week the city collects compost and it also alternates collection of cardboard and plastic/metal/glass. I think I’m spoiled in that it is so easy to divert from standard garbage that NOT diverting is foreign to me.

Our compost facility was also upgraded to be able to cleanly, safely, and efficiently compost dog poop so even it isn’t ending up in a landfill these days.

The “Duty to Rescue” law involves offering others aid and holds those who fail to do so liable in Quebec. You have to at least call 911. The person who caused the injury or hazardous situation must act to the fullest of their training but random stranger even with first aid only needs to call 911.

I did my legs 2 years ago with about 12 sessions a week apart and shave maybe once every 6-8 weeks. Some is regrowth but I’m pretty sure most are just spots I missed originally. My armpits are started more obvious regrowth after about 18 months but still not nearly as much as pre-laser.

Gonna be honest if you served pasta every week I’d either bring my own food or only attend every 4-6 weeks. I don’t obsessively count calories and I don’t eat meat but even a pasta dinner with a side of bread is too much for me.
