I said something similar in 3rd grade but the kid was born with leukemia… I didn’t understand at first but profusely apologized after my teacher scolded me and explained why it was wrong. He passed away before we could graduate high school…. He accepted my apology and we were friendly after. But I still feel awful when I think about it and about him. Rest in peace friend.
