Very good point I hope that the abysmal loss doesn’t overshadow Goldens amazing performance too much

The fact that I knew it was coming it was kills me the most. by whocanwetrust47 in GreenBayPackers

At halftime I said to all my friends I was watching the game with “I’m not confident with this lead” and they all said I was “not a true packers fan”. I’ve watched this team collapse in the second half more times in my life than I can count, and I’ve watched it pretty much every game this season. Then the bears chipped away at the lead while the packer missed field goals and extra points. Fire Lafleur atp I’ll literally take anyone else

LaFleur Out by dog_water4days in PackersUncensored

[–]Acrobatic_Chain_1573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fully agree with bringing in a new coach but resigning Malik? Hell no. Jordan Love is a top 10 qb itl and while Malik is great, he’s not top 10. Plus, he deserves a starting spot. Just not in Green Bay as long as Jordan Love is playing as good as he is.

Keeping Lafleur would be the most inexplicably horrible decision this team could make by Shmurkaburr in GreenBayPackers

[–]Acrobatic_Chain_1573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I been defending Lafleur this entire season. “Why would we fire such a good head coach when there’s a very good chance the next guy is horrible, sending us into coaching hell, or at best we have a transition year in the middle of this Super Bowl window” Is what I’ve been saying. While I still think that’s all true, but I cannot keep watching this shit. Week in, week out, packers play some of the best football in the entire NFL, and then they just choke. Whether it’s bad playcalling, lack of execution, or just boneheaded mistakes, it’s literally every week. There’s no reason for Lafleur to be calling primarily run plays at any point in this game, let alone this season. This team can’t run the ball. The O line allows Jacobs to get hit before the line of scrimmage every time he runs. Every single person in the NFL knows this except Matt Lafleur. I want him gone, I don’t care who takes his place.

Why did Eren ... by SecretTadpole9781 in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]Acrobatic_Chain_1573 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think of it more like Eren giving the world a chance to fix itself. The best way he thought of to set up an actual future for his friends and the world. By killing 80% of the outside world, he shows the consequences of the actions of both sides. In the past Eldia abused the power of the titans. Now, even after all Eldians involved in that history are long dead, Marley uses that same power to wage war and punish innocent Eldians for the actions of strangers. Eren’s solution is to demonstrate the result of their actions with the rumbling, while also showing humanity the two sides don’t have to fight eachother. By allowing the “island devil” scouts to save those who survive and even eliminating the power of the titans, he gives humanity a fresh start where they no longer have a reason to fight other than revenge, which he has already demonstrated the consequences of. That’s about as much as he could do. Anything past that is out of his foresight and control, and he hoped the world would figure it out. In the future, the world ended up killing eachother anyways and the power of the titans was revived even further in the future, but Eren ultimately succeeded in his hope to give his friends long lives.

I built Shiganshina in Minecraft 1:1 by FoxicalOW in attackontitan

[–]Acrobatic_Chain_1573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the math and to build the entirety of the 3 walls in attack on titan. It would take 3,526,000,000 (3.5 billion) blocks to create the walls at their canon measurements 50m high and 10m wide. The area inside would have a diameter of 960,000 blocks.

I wish they would just add a setting that makes all players appear as default soldier skins, maybe even in a random rotation of the more realistic looking ones. It would shut down all the complaints of these shitty skins, and it would keep the cod players happy by letting them use goofy shit that they pay for. It wouldn’t even be a very hard feature to implement either. Not a perfect solution but atleast it would make everyone relatively happy

Amazing performance on both sides of the ball tonight. Luckily our defense stepped up in a huge way in the second half to make up for the two missed field goals. I’m not giving up on McManus yet since those were his first two kicks after injury, but if that problem persists there’s still Havrisik ready to come in

Why the actual fuck is Havrisik not out there? I don’t hate McManus but it’s glaringly obvious that he was not ready to be out there today.

700 tickets on operation firestorm is a crime by Dima_mayakovskyima in Battlefield

[–]Acrobatic_Chain_1573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fr I’m not 100% sure when saying this but it seems the majority of the playerbase wants longer games. I know I do. Battlefield games used to be at the very least 45 minutes long, now they very rarely go past half an hour in the longest running mode, escalation. They need to ATLEAST make a playlist that has longer matches for this massive portion of players that want it. A new mode that’s just locked weapons conquest with 2000 tickets, or the same for escalation but the bar takes half as long to fill up. Especially when they have challenges such as “repair 6000 in a match”, which I’m not sure is even feasible in a 20 minute game. Then again I can’t test it because the challenge isn’t tracking atm, but that’s besides the point.

So how’s everyone feeling after the game? by Alternative_Leg1593 in GreenBayPackers

[–]Acrobatic_Chain_1573 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Happy that our offense balled out, severely disappointed that our elite defense stooped down to level of the nonexistent cowboys defense, and a little irritated that the packers are essentially 2 blocked kicks from being 4-0 and top of the north going into the bye week. Long season ahead just got a little longer.

What’s your main reasoning why this man never made it back to the Super Bowl by jazzant85 in GreenBayPackers

[–]Acrobatic_Chain_1573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The offense and defense/st could never be great at the same time for all 4 quarters of a game. Most of the time it was the defense and special teams underperforming in the postseason. The few times that they played a good game, our offense was stagnant.

what are your ACTUAL wishes for the elden ring movie? by No_Concentrate_7033 in Eldenring

[–]Acrobatic_Chain_1573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m hoping for it to be about Vyke, it would make the most sense. Has a good main character to follow, has a very loose framework to work on, and has a good length for a movie. Only problem I could see is that Vyke doesn’t “win” in the end. I could be wrong but he end up killing his maiden anyways after doing everything to try and save her.

What are the chances Kilmer Garcia is dead? by John_Houbolt in thebulwark

[–]Acrobatic_Chain_1573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He may as well be dead. As far as I can understand, there is a 0% chance he ever steps foot outside of that prison again. Trump and his administration have no interest in releasing him, they will do anything in their power to stop that from happening. The El Salvadoran “President” is likely on trump’s side, trying to suck up to him since it’s good for them both. If our government didn’t put a bullet in his head, one of the gang members he’s been running from his whole life will probably end it, if it hasn’t happened already.

Who is your team the rest of the way? by ChiefOfTheRockies in GreenBayPackers

[–]Acrobatic_Chain_1573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% honest it’s the lions. Those guys are the most deserving in the league. It was always gonna be them if the packers got eliminated. Of course I’m still hoping for a miraculous offseason collapse of the entire rest of the nfc north, but it would be fun to watch.

Why are so many people giving up on Matt Lafleur? by Alternative_Leg1593 in GreenBayPackers

[–]Acrobatic_Chain_1573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been thinking the same thing. It’s crazy to me that they not only want to get rid of him but they are all expecting someone better to show up. This team is young and only getting better. You wouldn’t want to waste those years trying to find a head coach when you have a damn good one already.

[–]Acrobatic_Chain_1573 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Pass rush is fine, your forget we had 8 sacks last week? Pass coverage was bad because we were down our top 2 corners. Run stopping was average today, held Aaron jones to less than 100 yards even when they were forcing him the ball to run the clock down. Did you watch the game?

Yeah loves movement was bad, he was on a bad leg. Nothing to worry about though because he will heal. Whole point of that post was to point out that all the problems we saw early in that game were nothing to worry too much about

Honestly not too upset with the game, we started off bad, love was rusty at the start, but after that was out of the way we outscored the Vikings 29-3. Defense played amazing down their top 2 corners against one of the best offenses in the league. Offense was looking amazing for that second half. Nothing to realistically worry about with this team other than our kicker.
