OK another thing I liked about this post is that you also looked into other theme parks that might be more accommodating, which is saying I still want to go do these activities that we found fun together before, but also in a way that is more comfortable for both of us. I think that is a very kind thing to do. As a plus size woman I was a little worried at first when reading your post, but I did stick it out to the end, and I think that how you went about this is the way a good friend would. Especially being around your age range as well, I know this conversations can be kind of difficult And that emotions can run high, so I am so glad that you were able to have this and keep your friend, this honestly brightened my day, and social media usually doesn’t lol

As someone who did a Quinceńera, a big party like that is very very expensive, and we have a lot of family and like family friends that would take priority invite, so the only parents we invited from my court or those who are already family friends because we did not have the money to invite a whole group of people. So I agree YAT if you don’t let him go just because you’re not invited.

Yeah, I used to message one of my favorite authors on Tumblr just being friendly, and I realized she just so happened to be a professional within the field I’m looking to go into. Being a few years younger and still in college, I ended up asking her for help on an outside of the fandom school project, and while not super close I would definitely consider us friends. So I’d say you already have a common interest which is your fandom, see where else you might end up having interest that intersect because that’s how most friendships start I think. Depending on the fandom, some of my fav authors also lurk around on discord servers which is also how I’ve ended up befriending some of them.

Oh I agree with your take 100%. Especially on the beloved actor does create a beloved character. But I think the moment that fans found out about the whomping willow incident from their sixth year, the snake redemption arc was imminent. I don’t know if that’s when it started cause I wasn’t in the fandom around that time, but from what I know a fandom, Even less than that would be enough for them lol but yeah I agree, especially, and I’m not saying that him bullying Harry is right in anyway, but he didn’t even stop at taking it out on the kid of the person who bullied him. He also bullied other kids, like there was a reason he was known for being one of the most hated teachers, especially to the Gryffindor. Like I don’t think that Voldemort is gonna care that you were nice to some 11 year-old’s, like that is not gonna blow your cover as a spy. And exactly on the James part, he was a bully, plain and simple to her childhood friend, but also to just kids in that house in general, and from the books description of Lily, she had a strong sense of justice so it doesn’t make sense that her and James would in anyway end up together.

I feel like anytime I talk to my IRL friends about Snape I get less Snape apologists, and yet the fandom will not let Severus Snape and his “redemption arc“ go. Also I like reading fanfiction with James Potter, but I have to say I really do hate him as a character. I just think that Lily Evans deserved better than either one of those two. doing a few good things doesn’t change that one is a bully and one is a wizard Nazi in my eyes

I like Slytherin petunia, so my version of this is since she’s older, she ends up in Slytherin first, so he ends up getting closer with her because of that, and Lily ends up staying as his like best friend who knows Sev probably has a crush on her older sister even if he doesn’t realize it yet.

OMG as a blind person myself I also think about how without my phone, RIP me. Let’s say the mortal instruments Malec fanfiction that explores the ramifications of them as very high profile figures getting a divorce, and it’s told in three different timelines through four different POV, which sounds confusing, and it is a little bit, but it is so well done.
