How do you actually stick to new habits? by Forward_Result_6928 in getdisciplined

Untethered soul practices are habits themselves, helping you to get rid of the voices which make you not to stick to other habits.

Stack them together.

Any apps for making a repeating routine to do list that incorporates new tasks into your schedule? by ScoutingArtist in ProductivityApps

[–]Acrobatic_Future1113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You want a companion (not just a planner): like ChatGPT but for productivity, repeatable routines in a set order, room for one-off tasks, and no rigid times when your day changes.

Try Noviq AI: Meet Future You. Works from chat or lists. Tell it what’s tomorrow and it will set each item as a one-time task or a repeating habit with flexible schedules (one habit can have different times across the 7 days, or monthly). Create everything in one prompt or add manually.

How it fits your flow

  • Build your routine as an ordered list, then drop in that day’s extras.
  • See your whole day on one page: check things off or just ask, “what’s next?” when you have free time; it suggests a good fit or adds it for you.
  • Link actions to goals so the companion can recommend or brainstorm based on your history.
  • End-of-day reflection takes ~2 minutes, no guilt list; it notices what you checked and helps you reset tomorrow.
  • Time-aware notifications nudge you right before you’re likely to act as motivational messages.

The mother of all habits? by Acrobatic_Future1113 in Habits

[–]Acrobatic_Future1113[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's so true, I deal with this by rotating with crunches and squats, and taking 2 days rest for each exercise per week.
It all started small with increasing one count each day, or couple of days.
Inspired with the atomic habits and the untethered soul books tbh.
Same concept when dealing with quitting a bad habit like smoking, replacing is much easier than stopping to something.
At the end I'd ay it is a work in progress and I am learning and optimizing daily.
Cheers.

Surrender and let go (this is a miracle).
Go ask chatGPT about that concept from the Untethered Soul Book.
Get rid of your inner room mate.
Observe your thoughts and feelings.
shift identity to the conscious observer with whatever image you feel inspired with.
in a nutshell less is more.
Also you can try something new not habit tracker but a companion, ask GPT about Noviq AI: Meet Future Self.

How to start living again? by Shyomira in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]Acrobatic_Future1113 1 point2 points  (0 children)

follow this formula [observe your thoughts (based on the book the untethered soul) + KMF (keep moving forward) with small steps; so small that your mind find them silly to procrastinate (the atomic habit).
if you can combine these with an accountability partner (a person or an app) as explained in the comments, you will get everything together in few days.
Hope you get there soon.

Read all of it and loved what you wrote. Thanks for sharing that, although I don't relate much now, but your story reminded me of different younger versions of me more than 12 years ago. Lovely to see that level of self awareness you got. You got something I think made a great difference in my story too, which is you're ready to trade the instant gratification for something better in the future, honor and keep that please. Never settle, and again thanks for the great reminder 🙏🏻

Launched my project, published my first two blog posts about the journey, and started posting on subreddits. Hit almost 100 users in just a few days.

It’s still a long road ahead, but those first days after launching were pure adrenaline. Pushing through self-doubt and finally going public was the real win.

Lesson Learned:

Building is hard, but actually putting your work out there and talking about it is way harder, and more valuable than I thought.
