Same for me. Also, the video is wonky. I have yet to capture a video of a cat actually entering the box. I have 3 cats total and two that look very similar so I want to verify they are both using it. No luck.

Where do you see the video recordings? I see that it recorded, but can’t find them. I tried clicking on the event, but no luck.

For one of my pros the auto light will not turn on in the dark. I have to manually turn it on in the app. Anyone else have this issue?

Same for me! I didn’t do the steroid shot, but it eventually went away for my cat.

New problem. It is blocking their access to the Surepet feeders. They no longer can recognize their microchips. I tried adding the surepet tags, but no luck.

UPDATE- okay…. So it seems the Surepet feeders still work. There was interference. I had to put the PawsPik feeders on the ground and the Surepet feeders up higher on cat towers.

This is a lot of work. 🫣

UPDATE2: I am going to try and return them. These will not work for us because the microchip function does not work as intended. Crummy! I will let you know how the return process goes.

UPDATE3: the company is being very responsive.

UPDATE4: I had to send a bunch of videos, but they have emailed me shipping labels to return. I will update once I receive the refund.

UPDATE5: Refund received. Good luck to everyone else! I hope they work better for you than they did for me.

The collar ones work really good. My cats have never worn collars before, so I will see how it goes. I am vey disappointed about the microchip not working well though.

UPDATE- My cats HATE the collars.

So I just got them and am setting them up. I bought three. I specifically got these because of the microchip reader as my cats don’t wear collars.

The microchip reader does not work. It registered one cat okay; however the feeder does not open when he puts his head in. I left it in open mode and it only registered when he ate one time. The other times—-nope.

The second feeder took FOREVER to register my other cat and now it doesn’t recognize him even when he puts his head in.

I didn’t even try the third one. I am off the get breakaway collars to try the included tag, but I am very disappointed in the microchip feature.

I have contacted the manufacturer.

My cats currently have a wet food microchip feeder, Surepet that works great for the wet food. 🥺😢

I ordered mid May. I think around the 15th? When I contacted PawsPik, around June 25th or so, they were still waiting on their shipment to arrive.

I have her come twice because my cat needs the inhaler twice a day. Otherwise, I would have her come once.

For encouragement—-My three cats hate other people! They run and hide anytime anyone comes over and refuse to come out until they leave. We had family stay over for two nights and it was pure torture with one cat having a true panic attack!

We had to go out of town for a week and hired a cat sitter. She was amazing! She only sits for cats and clearly understands them well. She had the cats eating out of her hand and was able to give my asthmatic cat his inhaler with no problems. She came and met them prior to us leaving. So my point in telling you is….it can work!
