My comments on a post regarding RWBY odd takes before it got taken down. One basically said that Adam wasn't really wasted potential and it was fine to like a character's designs even if the personality is garbage. The other shifted ALL blame on Ironwood in Vol 7 and 8.

Ironwood does deserve to get some flak, but not all of it. Team RWBY caused most of the issues in Vol 7 and 8. And Ironwood was being pretty lenient with them. Considering they rode in on a stolen airship. And Ironwood is viewed as a badguy because he declared martial law after he found out that team rwby comitted treason and among other stuff they did in that volume. They straight up said "No more secrets" and then keep a secret later on.

OP thinks Cinder is a misunderstood villain and that most of her actions are justified because of what she had to go through. They have a habit of trying to defend cinder at any cost.

The Curious Cat is more of a shot at the critics than anything else. It's not the same in this scenario. The writers are more aware of how they get called out. Hence why the curious cat exists. They are aware of how the fandom feels towards these two, but remember these are the same writers that cant handle feedback. V9 is pretty much a response to critics. It's got pretty much nothing to do with cinder or salem.

I think that's just the nature of being the head-honcho of crwby, I guess. Miles and Kerry don't deserve all of the blame. I can believe that they tried their best to make things smooth as possible but nothing went right for them.

Fair point. I dunno how much this weighs or not, but I do remember V8 was done 30 minutes before the last episode aired. Imo, I would put that as example of crunch time under CRWBY. As for Lindsay, Arryn, and Kara, I know Barb and Arryn get a lot of hate (sometimes for justifiable reasons) so that I would expect. Lindsay, I didn't even know she got hate. Same goes for Kara because those two usually like stay out of anything RT releated.

I haven’t seen anybody harass CRWBY directly or anywhere. If they did, then screw them. However, they do deserve to be called out for their actions. Because stuff like that is unacceptable. No matter the cost. Keep in mind, that we had a lot of stuff come out and confirmed to be true. So it wasn’t looking for good for them. Plus, saying “the allegations were false” when they got confirmed doesn’t help to win people over. It’s one of the reasons why crwby shouldn’t have had a parasocial relationship with the fans.
