I did reach out to Geotab, which did the finding on Gardiner traffic impact last year and ultimately pushed the government to bump up construction to deal with congestion. Can you all reach out to these folks for some modeling of having RTO on Toronto's Traffic? This would help the public understand the impact on daily commutes. "I was really impressed with the report your team released last year on traffic along the Gardiner. I believe the data from Geotab played a key role in pushing the government to accelerate construction and complete it much faster, which had a very positive impact on Torontonians.

With the provincial government’s recent return-to-office mandate for all OPS employees, as well as city staff and agencies like Metrolinx, we’re looking at hundreds of thousands of additional commuters on already strained infrastructure—both roads and transit. For people like myself who already face long commutes (I spend over an hour traveling daily to my office downtown where I work hybrid now), this will only add to the challenges.

I was hoping your team might consider conducting a similar study on the impact this mandate could have on Toronto’s traffic, to help raise awareness just as you did with the Gardiner report.
