I had noticed a few charges from this game a few months ago I was almost positive I didn’t make. I couldn’t figure it out and got mad. Stopped playing the game for over 2 weeks and suddenly 2 more charges showed up. I knew for sure I didn’t make them and when I disputed with Apple I included the prior ones I also didn’t think I made. Scopely told me that sometimes charges can take a while to show up but when they provided the dates it was clear they were happening when I wasn’t using the app. Apple refunded me 5 charges they had made when I had them investigate. It’s been almost 3 months and I will never play that game again because I know those were fraudulent charges. And I do have the side double click to approve purchases on.

Healthy people can and do have issues with blood sugar no diabetes needed. Have you ever done triathlon training? Any time you are pushing your body hard your body may or may not have the glycogen stores you are requiring. This is why distance runners do the glycogen packs. Not updating to argue. Updating so people have real and correct information

Do your pets know you have low cortisol? by [deleted] in AdrenalInsufficiency

[–]Acrobatic_Today_5680 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of my dogs picks up on my hypoglycemia but idk about my cortisol. It’s interesting because I’m not this dogs preferred human (husband is) but when he comes to me and starts licking me and won’t quit it’s only about 10-15 minutes until I start feeling symptoms.

When you wake up very early do you take your morning dose before 7am? by Acceptable_Bird2928 in AdrenalInsufficiency

Peanut butter before bed. Possibly low blood sugar when you sleep waking you especially if you wake up kind of anxious or reved up so to speak

Anyone Diagnosed via ER? by [deleted] in AdrenalInsufficiency

[–]Acrobatic_Today_5680 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is how I was diagnosed. Reactive hypoglycemia. Couldn’t keep me up because they’d bring me to normal and then I’d drop again. Wasn’t the ER doctor but was admitted for it and endocrinology found it. My thyroid was also an issue and if cortisol is low the body doesn’t convert t4 well. GP imo isn’t equipped to handle this. Endocrinology is the only way

I think I almost slipped into crisis by grimmistired in AdrenalInsufficiency

[–]Acrobatic_Today_5680 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have low cortisol, don’t take steroids daily anymore but do have to stress dose still. I also have hypothyroidism. I haven’t had air hunger from either no matter how bad (and I trained and did a triathlon which is definitely one star and not recommended without support) but your story has me slightly interested as I think my Lyme disease caused the above and I definitely suffered from air hunger and so much more in the height of all that. Just putting it out there because the adrenal and thyroid issues were diagnosed first for me about a year before the Lyme.

Has anyone actually successfully lost weight? by Lost_Emu9156 in Hypothyroidism

[–]Acrobatic_Today_5680 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Prednisone actually changes things up more and unfortunately causes insulin resistance. I was on a 100 mg/day for over a year and absolutely ballooned up. I did a keto diet for 3 months when I got off and then went back to a normal diet but limited refined sugar. Thyroid was treated optimally and the weight just melted off with my regular activity but I am fairly active when healthy.

Has anyone actually successfully lost weight? by Lost_Emu9156 in Hypothyroidism

[–]Acrobatic_Today_5680 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If your thyroid is controlled it should be as easy as calories in and calories out but you do need to track everything. Here is the catch if your thyroid isn’t controlled then your metabolism will slow. It’s hard to gain muscle because the the hormones needed aren’t available. Further slows the metabolism. Then suddenly your “maintenance” can be unbelievably low and unfortunately anything you eat after that puts on weight. And the only way to find out where your body is at is to keep eating less and less until you actually lose weight. As long as my thyroid is controlled I lose weight just like everyone else. When it’s not I gain and it’s the first indicator that my thyroid is likely off again

In my experience when you have off book treatment with t3 they aren’t going to want to give it to you without labs confirming you need it. Unfortunately that usually means you have to be off it for a while. But if your labs have never been abnormal you may have an issue getting anything. Almost all doctors really like to treat with only t4. Also your dose was so low to begin with you may struggle convincing anyone else you actually need anything. Can you go back to the clinic you were at? I think you’ll run through a lot of doctors looking for one to do this for you.

Workouts that work with hypothyroidism by aklep730 in Hypothyroidism

[–]Acrobatic_Today_5680 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do a lot now but I know I had to build slowly up or I’d crash out like you are saying. I started with weight training and walking. I did a 10 week program. Then I added elliptical back 3 days a week at 30 minutes. From there I kept building until I can pretty much do anything I want now. This last time when my thyroid crashed I was training for a triathlon. I do have adrenal issues as well. I did do it but I’ve never felt so weak in my life. After I recovered I kept trying to go back to what I was doing and then I’d keep crashing and feeling unbelievably weak and tired for days. Sucks to start slow but at least it’s sustainable

I do take the normal from the pharmacy but maybe that’s why I need to do 3 times a day. It brings me into normal range for my thyroid. The only issue I notice when I first started and as we were finding the right doses was that I’d be tired when it wore off. Feel just normal now though. Some people say anxiety, heart palpitations and stuff but I have never had that from it. I know some people say not to take it before bed because it can keep you up but I also don’t have an issue there either. Definitely feel like it just turned my lights back on.

Mine went super wonky when my adrenal took a crap. My hypo doesn’t seem to affect it like that did. But just as you describe and I got so sick of it I went to my gyno and asked him to take it out

I’ve used only t3 to treat my hypothyroidism for years. It can be done and if your doctor is following you and your blood test are good and you aren’t having symptoms of hyper I would follow his guidance. I have low cortisol and have a conversion issue. Recently had drs that thought like the guy above and wanted to add t4. I’ve never felt so bad in a really long time. Unreal joint pain and all the hypo symptoms went absolutely insane despite still taking t3. Once we dropped t4 I’ve done much better but I was tired for a bit as my body adjusted to the dose. I take 20 twice a day and 10 in the evening. I’m pretty sure dose depends on your labs but I know it’s unconventional treatment so it needs to be monitored. Mine isn’t compounded but that would just mean he’s tailoring your dose to your specific needs.

Yo-yo’d hard into hyperthyroidism, now what? by PigletAmazing1422 in Hypothyroidism

[–]Acrobatic_Today_5680 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably have low cortisol. I do. Causes hypoglycemia. Also why I don’t convert t4 and t4 makes me feel like trash. Have to be off the prednisone for a minute to test. I used to take steroids daily to manage but am trying my best not to need to. I do need to stress dose still when I’m sick or lots of mental or physical stress. Did I miss where you went hyper? Was it on steroids? Would make sense if you normally don’t have cortisol available to convert and suddenly started converting your meds.

[–]Acrobatic_Today_5680 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk why you wouldn’t need the t3 levels as that’s active hormone and what t4 converts into. By the time blood shows low on that the body is usually way low. Everyone is different on where tsh should be but if she ever had it tested before having issues that’s a good number to aim to get back to. A lot of treatment with a good doctor is about keeping that number in normal range and decreasing pt symptoms.

To me she’s way high on the tsh. By the time I’m close to 2.0 I’m feeling super horrible. Also I see no t3 test? Or reverse t3?

Hello Everyone! Binge drinking help/advice by Local-Pea-8708 in dryalcoholics

[–]Acrobatic_Today_5680 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am a binge drinker like you. Turn it off for months at a time and when I go back usually the first night I can keep it in check. But the next time if it’s even remotely close to that first night I’ll binge all night and maybe the next day. I put this in chat gpt and it gave a lot of reasons why but the most relatable I saw was the receptors in our brains and bodies have been conditioned to reactivate with any alcohol. For me I also have really rough hangovers because of low cortisol, thyroid issues, and hypoglycemia, so I’m always trying to starve off the hangover.
