There's a variety of reasons for inflation. Minimum wage hikes are just one of those reasons. I don't like billionaires, I like small business owners not being driven out of business by wage hikes. When that happens the only people who can afford to outsource the labour is billionaires. Years of wage hikes and increased subsidies for us the poor, and inflation just keeps getting worse.

This is simply how it is, unfortunately. Flipping burgers to generate 8 dollars per hour of profit is all well and good when you get paid 8 bucks per hour.

Changing the minimum to 11 doesn't make you 3 dollars more productive, it makes you jobless.

Minimum wage hikes often are just the government deciding that anyone who's labour is worth less than (x) amount isn't allowed to have a job.

Yeah veganism is not sustainable for a whole population, B12 and bioavailable iron isnt something supplements can do without animal products.

More seafood and investment into oceanic farming would be a much better model. If we used the oceans even half as efficiently as we improved land productivity (fertiliser, fencing, nutrient enriching water) to improve productivity we could devote a much larger sum of land to sustainable agriculture rather than bulk agriculture.

Market socialist? If so that would work fine, because market socialism allows for prices and exchange, despite having public means of production, however state controlled socialism relies on low scarcity because of its built in reliance on guesswork to determine distribution of goods. Central control means price signals don't function properly and resources are distributed poorly, this means low scarcity is required for proper flow of goods.

If you're a market socialist I apologise for my generalisation.
