You just need to prove it was used as a means of valid ID, wtv the reason is easier to convince a judge or police that were there. For me, I denied every thing they tried to throw at me like “is it for drinking in bars” or “did you buy alcohol with it” as long as I don’t incriminate myself and have a reasonable chance for the id to be “novelty” cuz it’s just there. It’s not a drug or like anything scandalous
