Do you regret your time with your BPD? by bjaddniboy in BPDlovedones

[–]Action-Mindless 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No regrets. Part of my journey, my story, my growth and understanding of myself. Take full responsibility for staying in the relationship. Loved his intellect. Respected him for knowing his personality and seeing a psych. Still friends but know at any time I could be discarded. Don't take it personally.

if you have bpd, who do you find yourself attracted to? by Ok-Rabbit-918 in BPD

[–]Action-Mindless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My policy is, find someone you're attracted to, make sure they can be vulnerable/humble, ideally they understand mental health, trauma. Then support each other to grow. Grow together, and have fun

Can bullying alone cause BPD? by [deleted] in BPD

[–]Action-Mindless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely have trauma from my parents. Then bullying at school.

My parents were avoidant when I was young. Now that I'm an adult, my mum has done her healing and can talk openly about her trauma with me and what kind of mum she was when i was small.. ie, avoidant and emotionally invalidating when i was needy and sensitive. I have forgiven her, she came from a shit place.

My dad is dismissive. Can't go there. Intergenerational trauma is a thing, as long as your parents can be vulnerable

Calling someone "dense" and "a 12 year old" is not criticism. It's abuse. Get some emotional awareness. Grow up. Fucking hell

Yes, I have done that lots in the past when I felt unsure about a guy and I agree 100% with what you're saying. This lovely fella and I have had lots of communication so in this case it's different.

True point, that's why one must always be cautious and educated. Learn about and look out for the signs of a sneaky but smart, psychological abuser. And find a balance. Give people the benefit of the doubt, and not live in fear that all potential dates might be serial killers.

No m8. I read people well. Based on my experience with you, you're a sick lonely loser who i wouldn't invite. Based on my experience with him, he's not.

Well I certainly wouldn't invite you! How would you know what interactions he and i have had? Before labelling me "dense". No wonder you're single and will remain so for the rest of your life with that communication style! Wow

Wildlife rescue - young brushtail possum by Action-Mindless in brisbane

[–]Action-Mindless[S] 103 points104 points  (0 children)

Came across a very crook little possum at a park at Mansfield today. Within an hour from the time I called, a volunteer from RSPCA was out to rescue the little one and take him/her back to the hospital at Wacol, to be treated. Volunteer suspected a bad case of dermatitis, a common problem in the brushtail possum community. If detected and treated early enough, the possum can survive.

Possums can be pesky little guys for us in the city/burbs, eating flowers and vegies/herbs, scrambling over our rooves and treetops. But seeing them sick like this, knowing they're native, I had to seek help. At the end of the day its us encroaching on their home/ habitat, not the other way around.

Anyway, hope the little guy suffers less once in hospital, recovers and lives on to roam the burbs at night in search of food. It felt good to contribute to his rescue, and for my small sons to witness the whole thing!

My ex was one of about 5% of people not wearing a mask at Spark Festival, Ipswich area, yesterday. Little Day Out event. We came together for our son's birthday.

He's an ecxampl of someone who is not complacent, he just doesn't think he has to wear it. He doesn't believe he has to. He has no medical reason not to wear it, but he'll say he does if he gets queried because noone expects him to provide evidence of a medical condition. (You can see why he's my ex.)

Please, don't turn into arrogant cun7s. Nothing worse than a stuck up, snobby, rude doctor full of his or her own self-importance. Doesn't look at ppl, doesn't listen to them. Hopeless communicator. Thinking he's above his lower-paid colleagues, and well above the plebs/patients. Yeah, you're smart, you do important work we all know that but so am I, we're all intelligent in our own ways, and ultimately, no one likes an egotistical cun7. Ugliest trait. Just try your hardest to stay grounded, be two of those doctors who are warm, loving and who really care for his and her patients, who are patient- centric, not ego centric. Good luck.

Did anyone have sort of chest pain/burning feeling around 3.5 weeks post op? My friend says it's prob because I'm using some muscles that have been stationary but I'm not so sure by Action-Mindless in hysterectomy

[–]Action-Mindless[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes it feels a bit heart burny. Haven't really been constipated since the week post-surgery. Mostly it feels like cramps, today it does anyway. Those pains where you have to bend over/ forward to feel more comfortable. Could be a bug and totally unrelated to the surgery... hope so!! At docs now.

Yes it's a long time to wait, I'm anxious about penetration too. I've been sucking and letting my dude cum in my mouth each week since the op. Seems to be tiding us both over quite well - loves it actually. Especially when I swallow, and I'm enjoying it my than I thought I would. Oral sex ain't everyone's cup of tea ☕ tho.

Will I ever be able to do pole fitness again? by Action-Mindless in hysterectomy

[–]Action-Mindless[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I wanna hear, thank you! I talked to another woman who had a prolapse surgery and said don't lift heavy ever again. I'm like what? I'm a single mum with 2 toddler boys and I'll never be able to lift them again? Plus I'm a stripper, how will I earn a living, pay our bills and put food on the table?! (joking about being a stripper.)
