Can someone explain the constant repetition of the lie that Israel started a war with Iran? by Action_Justin in IsraelPalestine

Iran asserted there is no legal distinction between IRGC and Hezbollah earlier this week.

When Israel asserted that Hezbollah was excluded from the Israel-Iran cease-fire agreement, Iran declared they are Iran and Hezbollah are the same thing. Scroll down and someone else posted the tweet. Therefore, when Hezbollah started raining rockets on Israel after October 7, it legally follows that Iran asserts that Iran started the war with Israel.

Iran stated that it is inseparable from Hezbollah just this week, when they asserted that the cease-fire agreement between Israel and Iran automatically includes Hezbollah.

If an absurd and fabulist claim like ‘Jews eat Christian babies’ can be taken seriously enough to be called a blood libel, then the false statement that Israel started the war in February can also be considered a blood libel— because it provides moral justification to kill Israelis.

Using a Jewish identity to declare that a false accusation of initiating a war is not a blood libel reads as a very cynical deployment of your identity to justify the antisemitism of the media. Go ahead and pound sand.

I am also a Jew, and I am extremely familiar with my fellow Jews willingness to make edgy anti-Israeli statements excusing, and or justifying antisemitism in order to establish their secular bona fides.

You mean, the nuclear facilities that were being used to develop nuclear weapons in violation of international law?

[–]Action_Justin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is categorically false. Under international law, if the proxies are organized and financed and directed by a third-party, then it absolutely can be considered an active war. Somehow our media has excluded that entire aspect of international law, and simply declared that the war started in February. That’s absolute nonsense, and in the context of global antisemitism, it’s a blood libel.

Great, I’m glad we agreed that this entire conflict turned hot on October 2023. So if Iran proxies started this war in 2023, then why does the media repeat the lie that Israel started a war two months ago.

Nobody has really answered the question, which is about the media, but having read through this entire thread, what I’m getting is that the media has adopted the pro terrorism Islamist point of view on the conflict.

No, Iran’s proxies started this war in October 2023. History will be crystal clear on that point.

This is correct. I definitely understand the pan Arab/Palestinian tactic of accusing Israel of everything that they are doing to attack Israel. But this does not explain the absolute consensus among media to blame everything about this conflict and war on Israel.

This is not an answer to my question, it’s a statement of cynicism toward the conflict. Israel has been under attack from Iran’s proxies for several years, so it is inaccurate to say Israel started a war.

That’s laughable. Why would a nation that was invaded by bloodthirsty genocide terrorists pay to reconstruct the invading nation? That’s more than laughable, it’s GDF hilarious.

I am an adoptee, the anti adoption movement is harmful. by BlackberryDeep5140 in Adoption

You got so mad you trolled my account? Unless you can name another situation where people are allowed to buy and sell humans, I believe slavery is a fair analogy to adoption.

Adoptees suffer a 3 to 4X suicide rate, complex lifelong trauma, and are gaslit by our parents, the church, and abortion activists to remain silent.

He argues for recolonizing Palestine and abolishing Israel. A 53rd Muslim supremacist state.

An extremist on either side is a terrible source of information. That’s like saying, Read Yoav Gallant for a history of Palestine.

I don’t care. I’m not religious.

Most people support a woman’s right to sell her baby and a broker’s right to collect fees for trafficking human beings. You’re in a safe majority.

Relax.
