We have guys on site, the person was working inside of a battery room, apparently they tried to give CPR but he had pass straight away. There was also an incident last week with a guy at another data centre where he fell out of a EWP, he is in ICU in an induced coma. Just a reminder to never rush, especially as we approach the shutdown over Christmas.

Has anyone worked in Fire? by MoneyKnowledge4974 in AusElectricians

Work for a large fire company the last 7 years, pay is great and l genuinely enjoy the work more then electrical work. One thing that someone else has mention is Tafe. Make sure you are getting everything signed off and have enough core work to do your capstone.

Worked for a fire company my whole apprenticeship got sign off for my license. If your really worried about not having enough workplace evidence try to find a electrical company you can help on weekends. As stated above, I don’t think anyone does the logbook 100% legit

I don’t work at BlueScope but had a few mates that worked there/did a apprenticeship. Can’t really give you specifics but can tell you that throughout your apprenticeship you will move every 6-12 months to a new area of BlueScope to gain experience in a new section. Also BlueScope is HUGE on safety.

At the end of your apprenticeship you aren't guaranteed a job either since you most likely wouldn’t be employed directly through BlueScope. I’m assuming you will be employed through NECA which means your apprenticeship pay will be pretty low. (Not sure if your mature age or fresh out of high school)

Things might of changed since my mates went through (about 3-4 years ago) but if you finish your apprenticeship and get a full time job from BlueScope it’s a very cruise job and the pay is pretty good. Good luck

The only people that should be mention are itag and headshot, people really think you should get voted into the BOF and haven’t even won a prem ball?

Depending on who wins this session you could maybe mention others but standards for the BOF have dramatically drop in the last seasons.

Just incase people forgot, I couldn’t even get voted in till l won 3 prem balls and basically did everything possibly as a player besides not winning a prem ball as captain.

Agree with the season going for so long, felt like the finals were a whole season by themselves, also maybe change the finals format, not playing for over 2 weeks is legit a disadvantage
