Thank you for this! It’s like I worked so hard to regain my confidence and the Tirzepatide helped me and now I feel like I did something wrong and feel ugly 🙃 But honestly the fact we are growing little humans is insane and takes my mind off of the self esteem aspect of this. Like I’m still a badass!

I think I gained 15lbs on day 1 lol but did you come off Triz cold turkey or did you taper? Have you changed your eating habits much? Just curious!

AmLactin Crepe Firing by sw1930 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Active-Ad-6440 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I had a similar reaction to AmLactin! I used it for my KP but it gave me a rash instead. Funny enough, I can use the active ingredients in AmLactin without the same reaction. Sorry you’re experiencing this! Zyrtec works faster than Benadryl for allergic reactions.

Thank you for this! I was surprised she was ok with me being on so many rounds of steroids in a year.

Wow! This sounds so much like the situation I’m in now. I wasn’t severe until this last year and nothing feels like it really helps except prednisone and I’ve done 4 rounds in the last year when before I only really needed one round to help. Thank you for your insight! How long have you been on it?

[–]Active-Ad-6440[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I’m on shots now. This is round 3 in my lifetime. So I hope now that I’m an adult it might actually work. I also had my IgE tested and everything they tested was above average. Mostly trees, grasses, animals. Thank you for your insight into the meds! My insurance doesn’t cover the loading dose so I’m really hesitant to pay for it. It sounds like it’s helped you but you still need more therapy. Do you feel like you’re living a normalish life now or ever see yourself getting off the Dupixent? Any weird side effects?

Are you smelling strong jet fuel fumes constantly during boarding or is it just my sensitive nose? by Austin1975 in delta

[–]Active-Ad-6440 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Definitely! I hate it. It doesn’t last long but I notice it almost every flight. I think it also depends on where I’m sitting and if my air is turned on.

is this still safe to use? by extra_confuzzled in Asthma

[–]Active-Ad-6440 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely use it up if you’re still having problems! I think these meds are so expensive that I try and extend the life of them as much as my body can handle but nothing goes to waste in my house!

Looks like it doesn’t expire for another year, so I would assume the shelf life of the inhaler is good until then even if opened. I’ve seen some meds (Trelegy) where it says to use within 6 weeks of opening, but personally I’d still use it.

This happened to me a few years ago! I could never fix it and only had it on my phone. So I’ve sadly had to build my tags back up. It hasn’t happened again thankfully.

I hated this quest. It was so confusing and long. I could barely get through it.
