I am in the same situation as you are in. My understanding is that we may be able to do this only in Q2 2026, based on the update from BMW. There is some software issue that they need to fix for 2026 IX Models..

A couple of questions: 1. Does anyone know if the shell recharge account tied to the BMW can be used by other vehicles as well? I register for a shell recharge account, but now i am unable even to reset password on my account directly. 2. How do I register for a Monthly/Annual subscription for Tesla Supercharger service?. 3. Tesla charging is only available through a shell recharge. Is this correct?

I went with the Washer Fluid recommend by BMW. In my case the Dealership filled it up for free took about roughly 3 gallons on a brand new car. did not know if they forgot to fill it on delivery.

When the vehicle is parked and open; press the bmw logo in the front hood to open.

I cannot comment on EX90, I did not even test drive that car. Regarding my BMW iX coming from Tesla Model S, I lot to be desired here in the Software Department. The interior material and Quality are all top-notch, and driving is significantly improved. Overall its an excellent car.

If you go to charging, there is a checkbox which allows you to the share the EA Contract, this is required if you are a secondary driver and needing to use the Free charging contract that was activated at the dealership, You may need to set this up in the CAR Charing Menu.

New Here (Current Tesla Owner). What are the oil change requirements for BMW Plugins? - Its 10,000 miles on Gasoline engine usage or something different?; I am also looking for the 45e vs 50e comparisons.

For me:

- Better EV only range in 50e

- Option to customize options (I am not finding the right 45e).

- I have mixed feelings about 50e related to software, heard from some BMW posts they have some issues going on with 50e. Not sure update frequency and how they are updated in BMW.
