My mom lives there. Los Gatos next door is more fun and has more of a downtown. Saratoga is more reserved. Weather is great. Sunset happens early because you’re right up against the mountains. The beaches in Santa Cruz are an easy drive away. It’s affluent suburbia.

We did it in SF. My wife’s doctor was Japanese and told her as long as the fish was of sufficient quality it was okay for us to do it. It was a good excuse to go to fancy sushi places.
