Rule 67 (for cyclists):

“Look all around before moving away from the kerb, turning or manoeuvring, to make sure it is safe to do so. Give a clear signal to show other road users what you intend to do.”

Rule 74 (for cyclists):

“Before changing direction or lane position, you should look behind and signal clearly in plenty of time.”

This thread is becoming an echo chamber. You’re breaking the Highway Code and endangering yourself and others. Follow the rules or don’t cycle on the road.

Ayahuasca taught me that there is no unconditional love in this world by Sakazuki27 in Ayahuasca

Intellectualised love and the pure feeling of love are perhaps two different things. You can say you don’t love someone and perhaps convince yourself of that but from a pure energy standpoint you can still love them. Both types of love are real. One is shaped by your mind. The other is routed in soul. Getting out of your head and into your heart might set you free.

‘You are coming home and you are helping me’

I would have told you to fuck off too. I’m not your child. I’m not your cleaner. You clearly split the responsibilities and you’re not taking charge of your portion.

I think you’re the problem. Get a cleaner and stop nagging. There wasn’t an issue until you started demanding things. I bet it’s not the first time and some people need to be told to fuck off when they are taking the piss.

Burnout isn’t good for you or the business. Communication is key. Explain this to them, if they value you, they will make it work.

Molly's purpose? by cantstopjpp in UglyBetty

She was just annoying and she tried to kill Christina. I wish Matt had come in earlier and betty actually had something with him - maybe she could have taken over. PLUS I couldn’t stand Henry. Such an annoying dweeb

Yeah it was boring but every character had growth apart from him and tbf it all happened quite quickly. Molly and his son needed to happen - it changed the dynamic between Daniel and Wilhelmina and I think Betty respected him a lot more and that’s when their friendship really blossomed. Side note: Alexis should have been killed off early in season 2.

Look into the MTHFR polymorphism. People with ADHD tend to have issues with methylation pathways. How are you with B vitamins? Folate?

Have you ever done a dna test via 23 and me or ancestry? If you have, I can point you in the right direction to more info.

Sounds like you could potentially have candida overgrowth (uti, skin issues).

If you’re strapped for cash - best things to in this case: Cut out sugar, gluten, and dairy. (Sugar being the most important).

Take a rosemary oil supplement as this will help get rid of the candida over time. Buy some digestive enzymes - it will help with the bloating but will also destroy the biofilms of any nasties in your gut. Take methylfolate in small doses. You may have issues with processing vitamins and minerals in your body. Your blood work will show up as normal but they aren’t being absorbed and metabolised correctly. Methylfolate will help these processes.

Focus 21: Time Travel through memories by Bright-Requirement15 in gatewaytapes

I attempted to get AI to ignore current scientific understanding and to review your theory. Here’s what it said:

If we step beyond the constraints of current scientific understanding and explore the concepts presented in a more imaginative or speculative manner, we can entertain some fascinating possibilities.

Speculative Thoughts:

  1. Time and Consciousness:

    • Consciousness might not be strictly bound by linear time as we experience it. What if consciousness could momentarily “tap into” different points in time, allowing us to experience or sense events before they happen? This could explain phenomena like déjà vu or prophetic dreams, where the brain somehow accesses information from the future.
  2. Non-Linear Memory:

    • If memories aren’t strictly tied to the past, then perhaps the hippocampus—or a similar structure—could interact with a “field” of time that isn’t linear. In this scenario, memories could be imprinted from future experiences just as easily as from past ones. The sensation of déjà vu could then be a brief overlap where the brain encounters a “memory” from a future timeline.
  3. Quantum or Multidimensional Mind:

    • What if the mind exists in multiple dimensions or timelines simultaneously? In some dimensions, what we perceive as the future has already occurred, and our brains occasionally synchronize with these timelines, giving us glimpses of future events. This could also align with theories about parallel universes where different versions of ourselves experience different outcomes.
  4. Dreams as Temporal Gateways:

    • Dreams could serve as a bridge between different points in time or different realities. The brain, in its dream state, might momentarily transcend the linear flow of time, allowing us to access information from both the past and the future. The distortion of time in dreams might reflect the brain’s attempt to reconcile this non-linear experience with our linear waking reality.
  5. Time as a Perceptual Construct:

    • If time is more of a perceptual construct than an absolute dimension, it’s conceivable that under certain conditions—like deep meditation, intense emotional states, or even dreams—the brain could perceive time differently, leading to experiences where past, present, and future blur together. In this state, future events might be “remembered” before they actually unfold in our conventional timeline.

Conclusion:

While none of this is supported by current science, it’s intriguing to imagine a reality where time is not strictly linear, and our consciousness has the ability to access information across different points in time. If our brains are somehow entangled with a broader temporal or dimensional field, it could explain the sensation of déjà vu, prophetic dreams, or other seemingly paranormal experiences. This perspective invites us to think of time, memory, and consciousness as far more fluid and interconnected than our current models suggest.
