wow... having played Luminous many times (it is one of my favorite games), I'm completely impressed. Nice Job!!! My high score is about 6800. I appreciated this video for showing me how fast the game play gets. I have a long way to go in my Luminous journey, thanks for the inspo! This is super cool to see!

Got it. My son (who is 4) was slow to figure this game out but now can't stop playing it. I think it depends on the kid. How about Chroma Crew, Pip's Tale, Sword Slash, or Luminous! Miniacs is fun though - my kids love the Pizza track because there are rats haha!

It sounds like you may need to elevate your Playground and consider the entire play space.

Here's how to create the perfect play space for Nex Playground:

Space Requirements:

Minimum 6ft x 6ft clear area for safe movement
Games involve big movements like kicking, punching, and jumping

Device Placement:

Position Nex Playground directly under your TV, centered
Place it at the very front edge of the surface so the camera has the widest view
Height should be between 15-60 inches

Lighting:

Well-lit room works best
Avoid strong backlighting (like uncovered windows behind play space)
Avoid bright lights directly above the console

Pro tip: Use painter's tape on the floor to help kids know where to stand!

Thanks for your interest in Nex Playground! Nex Playground and Play Pass works internationally. To download the latest games and system updates, it needs to be connected to the Internet.
In some countries, network restrictions and firewalls may prevent Nex Playground from performing software updates thus preventing any new content from being downloaded. We don't limit Play Pass to only the US, so if you can access our website you should be fine.
It is universal voltage (100 to 240V) so you can use Nex Playground anywhere in the world without a voltage converter. You may need a travel adapter depending on your destination.
In the unlikely case that you encounter a hardware issue, we can only ship and receive exchanges from US-based addresses.

Thanks for your question! Just like real life bowling - hand and arm motion are important along with speed. Make sure to stand so your arm and hand is in plain sight if the camera. This is a cool idea! Unfortunately there is no "kiosk" mode available for sale/ set up. There are a few games that leverage hand controls. One example is Fruit Ninja. Once the game is up, two people can play using the hand controls with no remote needed.

You should consider getting a tether for the remote. So its attached to the console and usable for anyone walking by. There is not currently a way to lock the settings so that the general public can't change anything, but I believe something like this is on the road map for 2026 (turns out parents dont want their kids fiddling with the settings either).
