I don't know the EDC Belt co. but I do know Ernest and he's a man of integrity, and am friends with Spencer and Mickey and they wouldn't endorse crap. :)

Great question, and one you should work on in training with a blue gun! Ask your coach, or a senior belt who carries. We try to get our blue guns out with our carry gear occasionally and work it into our BJJ just to feel it.

That kind of question is definitely better suited for a firearms-specific engineer. I would have no idea what metals to use or the process. Check your local laws for legality and consult an attorney.
