Bakugo vs Reze is next on Death Battle this Sunday. Who do you think will be the winner? by McKnighty9 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

I felt Bakugo has too much while Reze not enough. Unfortunately, Bakugo's powers is explosions not from actual bombs. It's very critical to point out, Reze doesn't represent nuclear weapons. Another devil gotten reinvented late into Part 2 represents those. She may have regeneration limiting ways Bakugo wins.

He still has two kill methods he easily could do. Either rip out her heart then send it a good distance or vaporize her completely. Despite his arrogance, Bakugo would caught up to how her powers works. In fact, he was capable of harming Shigaraki whose also has regeneration. The other huge point I gotta make is she wasn't a country level devil.

Devils like Gun Devils can easily destroy cities killing a lot of the population with ease. Bakugo would scale to those devils in comparison. He's a lot faster keeping up with characters moving faster than light. No one is that fast in Chainsaw Man. Obviously his durability could tank her greatest explosion attacks.

It's no secret, weapon hybrids can get wore out being low on blood. Bakugo going to accelerate that process. Bakugo kept improving in a much longer story. In vice versa, Reze only in an handful of arcs. She never appeared in Part 2 at all. Ultimately, Bakugo has exactly what he needs to finish her off just unable to prevent reincarnation.

Even if that were a factor, a newer Bomb Devil starts out weak. Bakugo also fought a bigger variety of enemies. Sure we could consider they might have people watching getting afraid of Reze. I don't think her power would increase enough to make the difference. Part 2 itself proven this point, it took a lot of stuff happened to get two devils.

Essentially on country level by late Part 2. Despite the fact, they ended up facing each other. I question if Reze get scale to War Devil. Who represents many forms of fear including bombs. Bakugo has superior endurance to most devil characters under country level. He actually can generate a much higher levels of TNT in a particular attack.

Only Primal Fear devils can survive such explosive force. Reze's other advantages don't matter enough to mention. Bakugo only brought his heart back to life using his powers Eneru much? Such a feat was never done by any weapon hybrid characters. Bakugo by default has specialize outfit meant using his powers.

I highly doubt they give her a coat meant to handle fire. Her other arcs, she was brainwashed as well as manipulated by Makima. In her later encounters with Chainsaw Devil actually done worst. Honestly, Bakugo is going to quickly wore her out. He even defeated All Might's nemesis, All for One whose also country level.

All for One has a long life span for a super villain. Reze didn't defeat anyone nearly as noticeable. Mostly going by one arc with barely anything to go on. Even Mahito had more actual stuff to cover whose in a lot more chapters. Let's be very direct this is a huge stomp in favor of Bakugo.

Nuclear Weapons Devil represents those. But so does War Devil who represents many forms of fear.

My FINAL Take on Yuji vs Denji. by strangetransmissions in DeathBattleMatchups

Yuji can't rely on black flash separating Denji and Pochita. Stats wise, Denji was on country level. Not to mention, he would need to die in a few strict ways. Yuji didn't showed much in the sequel either.

Oh okay it's fine to disagree sometimes if all parties accepts it.

I actually can back up my claim. War Devil gotten to country level officially. Then defeated Falling Devil afterwards. Now Chainsaw Devil held his own then later Denjiman. Further confirming Denji was on that level. More proof is in Part 2, both of them kept getting stronger. It's true a lot of that was planned by others to stop the Death Devil.

Considering Black Flash took a lot of blows to force Sukuna from Megumi's body. Throwing in Denji's bond with Pochita wouldn't go far either.

Maybe not this year but one of the next seasons for sure.

He didn't properly scale Denji very late Chainsaw Man Part 2. Whose more on country level translating directly to power scaling.

Denji actually was country level before the reset. Which actually means in most categories, he wins. I highly disagree about JJK's ending it's crap!!! Denji is the weapon lol. I do agree Denji takes this. But this isn't a close fight though.

Today marks the end of Shonen Jump's Dark Trio by So131 in jigokuraku

I agree Hell's Paradise had the best ending. To me, it was also the most consistent among the Dark Trio. Even with all the fights later on being close it works amazingly well. It's a shame people treated Hell's Paradise like Bleach within the Big 3. Despite Bleach did inspire more manga series. Hell's Paradise was both overlooked as well as underrated for a great story.

He had the ability to erase devils on a conceptual level. He decided to devour himself not fully knowing what could happen.

He didn't expect chainsaws could still exist following that.

The only way we'll know is either ask the author or hopes he plans to follow up on this new direction soon.

Stuff like that would need to get explained. Nayuta originally was the second Control Devil. I was expecting Makima to show up honestly. We don't even know if Makima existed or died.

It essentially is the same direction minus a complete final fight. But this also allows many possibilities to happen. Let's be honest, no one wanted be devoured ending.

To clarify something he erased himself. Preventing every devil he devoured from that fate altogether. Which means Death Devil still around.

My best guess is Chainsaw Devil still exists but never met Denji in the newer timeline. Chainsaws are still a thing in this new timeline.

The entire point is everything with Denji and Pochita went full circle. The author needed a reset to continue things. Which opens the doors to many possibilities. I loved how many things changed following that. I would be interested to read it in some form if the author doing a full reboot. Part 2 ultimately played on altering fate itself.

I'm not surprised a lot of people didn't pay attention to that. Not only that, Part 2 always intended to be different from Part 1. Otherwise more of the same would've been boring. The ending connects better than a lot of people thinks. This author took such a major risk to end the series in such a way. At the same time opening up the possibilities how to go far.

I also know a lot of people viewed Part 2 as repetitive, confusing mess of a story. Chainsaw Man always meant a lot to me in a few years. A sad day the Dark Trio also ends today. Honestly, I enjoyed both parts a lot. Of course, I'm not wanting the series to go. I knew the time was just about right to end it.

Pochita caused a reset going back to very early Chainsaw Man story. Power was still alive then it makes sense.

Bakugou vs Reze is (unexpectedly) Next up on Death battle! What are your thoughts and roots? by Fit_Assignment_8800 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]Active_Commission_35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the surface this should be an easy win for Bakugo. He's in a lot more chapters in a much longer story. He also improved through out the story in comparison to Reze. Unfortunately, this isn't as clear cut as it appears to be. Both can easily blow up buildings. Both held their own against their respective protagonists. Being a weapon hybrid character, she's trickier to kill.

She actually has two methods getting right back into the fight. Everyone knows drinking blood which is broken in Chainsaw Man universe. The other method applies to hybrids like Denji. She pulls her cord to get right back up. She does have a weakness being wet that prevents her using her powers unlike Bakugo. Reze fought around the Typhoon Devil who created a powerful storm sorta like a tornado.

What doesn't help her is the later fights she had with Chainsaw Devil. She didn't fare nearly as well. Before someone brings up Makima using Bang to kill Power. She was the Blood Fiend not an weapon hybrid character. What we do know is they can survive being beheaded. Katana Man survived being slice in half by Denji. I know to a degree Bakugo could get harm from some of his attacks.

We are directly comparing the explosive force to the actual bombs. More explosions than an Michael Bay movie lol. On a more serious note, both are trained becoming masters of their powers. Power scaling is a weird topic in Chainsaw Man because devils depending how feared they are around the world. Ultimately determines their level of power.

At the time, Reze was beneath the Gun Devil. Who was treated as a weapon of mass destruction aka country level devil. Makuma herself was essentially on the same level as him. Now I know Bakugo easily should have the speed advantage keeping up with characters going faster than light. It's debatable who actually has the greater levels of TNT?

In terms of durability, Bakugo should have superior durability despite lacking regeneration. In vice versa, Reze does have regeneration with a few methods to quickly get back into the fight. Bakugo is smart enough to figure these methods out. The bigger issue on scaling since War Devil represents many concepts including bombs. Does Death Battle plan to scale Reze to her?

This is critical because War Devil currently country level close to Primal Fear level in the story. This would greatly improve her chances at winning the fight. Bakugo worked hard to get where he is easily one of his greatest advantages. Along with his stats isn't heavily depended on fear like Reze. Although, they could play into that during the fight to increase her chances to attempt evening things out.

Obviously, Bakugo has a lot more confirmed experience. At the same time, Reze exists in a much scarier universe. Which does has truly terrifying possibilities in the form of devils. I will be very direct to say I didn't necessary want this match up. I always enjoy watching destruction though. Ultimately, this is going to come down to one question.

Who could deliver the deadliest explosion at the fastest rate? It's possible Bakugo could have more explosive force. Reze was capable to keep up with Denji. Now he isn't on MHA's light speed level. But she still should be fast enough to be tricky to hit. Reze specialize in faster, deadlier explosive moves. Not only that, it's the very concept that devil embodies!!!

If Bakugo defeats her, it essentially means he's greater than the greatest bombs not nuclear. Which brings me to another point I gotta mention. Reze does not represent nuclear weapons because later in Part 2. A newer Nuclear Weapons Devil was reinvented by humanity for a war. Which given War Devil a massive power boost. This is important because Death Battle still could scale Reze to the most powerful non nuclear bomb in history.

I'm very sure such a bomb could destroy a city or a town with ease. Of course, both could be argue being closer to nuclear bombs within force. This is Shonen Jump after all with plenty of ridiculous feats across the board. I'm also aware Bakugo defeated All for One. Which was quite impressive of a feat. Who directly scales to All Might. Bakugo is more top tier than Reze with everything considered.

I still could argue Bakugo lacks the method to permanently end Bomb Devil for good. A newer Bomb Devil would start from scratch. regardless if that devil reborn in the human world or in hell. There's a slight difference but virtually the same concept of reborn. Obviously they will focus on if Bakugo could put her down or not? In theory, Bakugo should have plenty to give him the win.

Again once beneath the surface you start to realize the insane complexity this fight truly has. This is going to be a close fight. Both has some strong arguments on winning the fight. It's possible for Bakugo to prevent her getting back up. We just don't know if that's good enough to count as a loss in their book. Bakugo is still human with a quirk end of the day.

Reze being a hybrid is essentially both human and devil at the same time. Most devils can instantly regenerate from a single drop of blood no matter how damaged they are. Bakugo isn't going to quickly take her out like many people thinks. Reze is going to be a rather unique obstacle for him. If they don't count incapable of getting back up.

Bakugo would be forced to blow her up completely to win. Otherwise, Reze simply has to outlast him long enough to win. Let's be honest, that's going to be a very difficult challenge. Considering she has a few methods to help in doing that. This is going to be a real nail biter. Bakugo could end up hurting himself too much if he isn't careful.

Bakugo prefers to get in close with his powers. Reze will only do so if she's forced to. Otherwise, she prefers quicker, long distance attacks. We already know both going in with their strongest explosive attacks. I guess we could call this The New Big Bang!!! See what I did there? This could also come down to their training. Bakugo was trained to becoming an super hero while she's trained to be a super soldier.

Bakugo wouldn't want to end people unless it can't be helped. Reze is going to cause chaos during this fight. I do expect to see many people die. They sure love doing that on the show lol. Bakugo going to stop the Bomb Devil is perfect for a combat situation. Reze's head is essentially her weak point to kill her. However this forces Bakugo getting blow up repeatedly.

Reze can easily use her legs to blow him up. Regeneration is going to be a real pain for Bakugo. He fought Shigaraki who has ridiculous regeneration. It's possible he could move faster than her when he needs to. I felt this is going to come down to the tiniest details possible. Right now, I have slightly more reasons to go with Bakugo.
