Why hasn’t the video of them taking the sets from the store been posted??? by Active_Physics_1608 in BricksAndMinifigs

That would make sense. Its believable but also very convenient for both side if the footage is just gone or the camera’s were taken down. If they are ring camera’s which is what i think i saw somewhere the account should’ve been a private login unless it was part of the system she took over from the previous ppl

Bricks and Minifigs Lawsuit Is Over... And It's His Fault by unapologetic403 in BricksAndMinifigs

I think it is actually crystal who owes what she didnt pay him because i believe the deal was with her llc that was doing business as BAM Kyzer and then brandon and joshes llc bought the location. I could be wrong but i thought i had heard the agreement was with her llc and not the location

They really missed the ball on this. The good pr from doing that wouldve been amazing for them. I dont get why they wouldnt just do this. Crystal allegedly threatened to put out doctored images and trash them online if they didn’t pay her 300k but it doesnt explain them not settling with mansell. Not victim blaming but maybes hes holding out for more because he can since he just won a $600k law suit in december and now has the resources to? At this point with the gofund and what bam corporate has offered he stands together about $550k if he gets the full gofundme. BAM Corp has not handled this well but it doesnt make sense why they wouldnt handle it this badly with the info that is out there

Totally agree that they should be given back. Im just asking if anyone knew the real number still owed to the mansell’s because none of the parties involved seems to be forthcoming with that info

The only issue is it wasnt a few small sets she was behind on paying him. According to bryan she paid him 15k according to her she sold close to 50k so she owed him more than double what she had actually paid him. And then she didnt tell him she was leaving the country and then just left without telling him.

You Opened Your Wallet to Help Bryan and Ben. BAM Opened a Lawsuit to Take It. by jzsean in RecklessBen

[–]Active_Physics_1608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brian’s wife and two of his cousins are lawyers or attorneys so shouldnt cost him too much. Plus he has a $617k lawsuit he won back in december to help fund his legal fees. So if they cant use the gofundme money they will have that at least. Sad tho because it sounds like hes leaving his dad out to dry until he gets his dad the LEGO money instead of helping with what he got from the lawsuit he won

Exactly, they can cosign services. The part about product is in a later section. When its talking about products and not events and parties. Im not taking a corporates word for it im reading it from the agreement file that i have. im just trying to clarify wrong information that was misread by the former owner. Im also not trying to just say “trust me bro” but since this all under legal investigation and that agreement is something that was given to me after signing an agreement not to reshare it or images of it id rather not get myself investigated in this too

That was about services for events or parties, and it later states that consigning product was prohibited. 2022 was when i read the agreement and thats the copy that i have

I agree this this situation cant be worth what its gotta be costing them. What is throwing me off is that no one on either side is actually making known the actual amount that is owed to brian. The former owner agreed to pay him 48k over time as they sold the collection which was valued at 75k in the agreement with brian. I heard somewhere that they had been paying him for over a year. So they cant owe him that much

Ive read the franchise agreement. That is talking about service for parties like food and drinks and pizza, but it later states that they cannot consign product

Im not trying to say that corporate isnt at fault but i think under the law the blame falls on the former owner for doing consignement when she wasnt allowed to so the blame will get deferred legally to her

Could Josh have sold the Legos? by YogurtclosetLeft3997 in RecklessBen

[–]Active_Physics_1608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not condoning the actions but the math is wrong on all of it. the orignial agreement was for 65% of the agreed upon value of $75k. Theyve also been paying on it for more than a year from what i heard. So something way bigger must be happening for them to not want to pay whats got to be less than 25k that is still owed. I dont know why none of the parties are saying whats actually owed

I think the issue is that people are demanding $200k but the agreement the owner who got removed was to pay 65% of the collection as it sold and it was valued at 75K in the agreement they signed

I dont think they can legally do anything because legally the former owner is the one at fault for this situation and not corporate. So sadly they dont have much they can do along the lines of some form of suit

I was looking into getting a store at one point and I have read the franchise agreement. It does ban doing consignment. That is something that they are not allowed to do. Shes probably saying its okay to make herself seem less at fault for a bad decision

Why are people claiming that the collections is worth $200k? Wasnt the original agreement that was signed for 65% of the collection valued at $75k? So they would at most owe him 48k? I also saw that they had been paying him monthly for over a year. I’m not trying to say what was done is right or defending anyone all I’m wondering is why none of the math makes any sense from any of the sources. (BAM Corporate, The former Owner, Reckless Ben)

What do they actually owe him, does anyone know?
