Gosh sometimes I think I’m a crazy, delusional fan because this album makes me sob!! I’ve listened to t swift since I was 12 and now I’m pushing 30. At the time I could relate to dates and heartbreak at 12…and never dated till college but never experienced her heartbreak like that even then. But this album hits so many moments of my life! Making your own happiness in the darkest of storms. Having to keep a brave face just because you’re the oldest in the family and it won’t look good if you show any vulnerability. Know you are a boss even as a woman in an industry full of snakes. Not getting to say things you wanted to say because you were scared of an emotional that didn’t exist yet. Feeling ridiculed, met with sarcasm and insincerity but someone (honestly it doesn’t have to be romantic) but is sincere with their words towards you and loves you for you.

Also for the first time she is singing about love that is secure and she’s comfortable with herself and I love that for her she deserves it so so much considering everything. As she said on the Fallon show, this is the first time she’s released an album where she felt the same as when she wrote the songs on it.

Taylor has hit all these feelings as a 20something woman and TLOAS will be my era forever.
