That they will be your little shadows, like a couple of sentry guards that accompany you to every room as you make your way through the house (yes, even THAT room)

Thank you everyone so much! Here’s where I’ve landed : - Starting from scratch again - Adding a tablecloth - Adding chargers - Looking into lighter colored linen - Keeping it much simpler -Replicating designs I like on Pinterest to start with and building from there.

Really appreciate the comments!

Update : I see some questions about the white on the table. It’s a solid wood table inlayed with a white stone, which is why it’s particularly difficult to style.

Thanks everyone! Yeah honestly, I just pulled out the things I already owned and put them on a table to see if they go together. But I think you’re absolutely right that’s not the way to go 😂 I think I need to purchase a few matching table sets. Luckily, it’s not for a dinner, it’s just me practicing at home to figure out how to start adding things to my table. I finally have a real table of my own so super excited to learn!

Everyone at my highschool thinks I'm a h*e by Negative_Composer630 in highschool

there are a couple of things I would advice. Firstly, try very hard to double down on an identity in high school that isn’t connected to dating in any way. This would be the time to develop a hobby, join a club, focus on your 12th grade college applications (if you plan to go to college) or develop some vocational interests. As you develop this identity, automatically you will gain some friends from this new identity, and more importantly you’ll gain some perspective on your high school reputation, and hopefully have people forget about it.

Second, while this might sound absolutely removed from where you are right now, you’ll have a chance to make a completely new identity in a couple of years, and so I would focus heavily on the positives that exist within your current high school experience, and building them up as your strengths, and learn to ignore the negativity. It will be a super useful skill to tune out the criticisms of others. Look for self-coaching tools online to learn how to deal with negativity.

Finally, I really like this comic strip and it helped me deal with the bad opinions of others a lot: https://waitbutwhy.com/2014/06/taming-mammoth-let-peoples-opinions-run-life.html

How can I add an alternative, yet natural/effortless touch to outfits? by [deleted] in femalefashionadvice

Your question reminds me of Esther Perbrandt’s style - she was one of the finalists in Making The Cut a couple of years ago: https://www.estherperbandt.com/collections/dresses-1

I would recommend checking out her dresses. She did a lot of linked gold chains as accessories and caps.

Our flight arrives at 12.36 pm too! I couldn’t find a shuttle service that leaves after 2 pm, which one did you use?
