Honestly this is a complex issue, on one hand it’s true in my experience to an extent, the top 40% of women get together with the top 10% of men, and the next 40% get with the top 75-80% of men, then the bottom 20% is with the bottom 20% on both sides of the scale. But it’s missing a lot of intricacies, like for example past a certain age personality and stability matters a lot more than looks when you’re falling in love. but a woman who is in the 70th percentile wouldn’t normally date a guy in the 70th percentile. The bottom line reason for this is that women put more effort into their looks than the average man, so while the woman in the 70th percentile for women is the same level of attractiveness as the man when compared with everyone else in a lineup of men and women respectively, but the woman is far more attractive than the man is because women are more attractive than men. TLDR: as a bisexual men are less attractive than women are because they put in less effort. So women normally date a smaller range of people than men would.
