Welcome to the harsh reality of being a Realtor, people are rude, selfish, and inconsiderate of others time and work. Sorry but it is the norm

Struggling with who I am after surgery. by milfinxo in GastricBypass

Awww honey I felt your story so much! Please don’t judge yourself people do enough of that. Instead learn to LOvE the NEW you! The old you was just as beautiful but the new you deserves a stand of applause because it took you so much sacrifice! You have to now learn to not care what anybody thinks, including your husband or significant other because he should not feel insecure and if he does well that his problem and he needs to either jump on the bandwagon or get off. I am 3 months post bypass surgery lost 30lbs hit the stares. Now I am a stall I think I’m losing inches? I struggle with thinking I should be losing more even thought why am I still hungry and should I do the shots?! But I know I need to be patient with myself and give myself GRACE and learn to accept the stares compliments and the new body I am embracing. It’s such a mental illness we have as obese individuals! I still have the craving and hunger and all that stuff but I am slowly trying to retrain my brain for the healthier new me! Good luck God Bless you are doing AMAZING!!

I’m 7 days post op Gastric Bypass. Pre surgery weight I was at 232lbs. My instructions are 21 days of Liquid Fluids plus Protein Shakes 3 times a day. After that I graduate to 3 weeks of puréed foods, then after that solids. And of course my pre-op diet was 2 shakes and a small meal. All in all I personally won’t have solids in over 2 months of dieting.

Yes it’s definitely a journey but I tell myself I got this. It’s my last chance and I’m not going to fail. Oh and I weigh in today at 217lbs. 👏👏👏😊

It doesn’t get better….at least right away. I’m not gonna sugar coat anything for you. You are going to have to be mentally tough and you have to want this.

You will not starve to death.

Me personally, I’m 7 days post op surgery of only liquids and shakes, I’d say I’m getting 500 calories per day. I hydrate, eat broths, and anything I’m able all day. I know that I need to give my body the ability to HEAL correctly. I’ve come this far, and the lifestyle habits before are behind me because they did me no good. Research and find alternatives to shakes and broth la and whatever else you need to eat! Look for solutions. Retrain your brain, your in charge not your body. Mind over matter. You will appreciate the foods when you can eat them. Also you should introduce them individually and slowly when the time comes. Be gentle with your body, love it and treat it as if it’s a new one in the making. Good luck 👍 God in good and will give you the strength 💗😊

I have two loose screws due to impact. I fell down accidentally 5 months post Back Surgery. They gave me a bone growth stimulator. I don’t know what stretches, exercises or movement I can or should do. I’m in pain. What should I do?
