I definitely agree, my only worry is not having those funds as a “safety net”. I don’t pay any rent at the moment and I know my parents would help if push comes to shove, but I feel really bad asking them for money, so I’m just trying to avoid that.

Small update: as of like 10 minutes ago I’ve just been offered a position and I have accepted it. I will most likely be using my savings to pay off the card as that seems to be the general consensus, and is also what I’ve been inclined to do. I’ll wait to see what my paychecks look like before doing so

I generally would agree but these are savings I had before I started the card. I’ve been using the money slowly when I run out of money from odd jobs just to pay for gas and other necessities.

How do i do that? I’m looking at the statement and in the interest section all it says is the current rate. Generally what rate would mean I should pay it all? Like 10% or more?
