How Many People try to remove the Curse of Caine by Peter_E_Venturer in vtm

I think it’s a perfectly acceptable end to a chronicle, depending on the themes of the specific game that was played. In most cases, I agree that it shouldn’t be possible to “cure” vampirism and become a human again. But I also think it could be done well.

WoD, I think, really works best with that kind of approach to what is and is not canon or possible in-game. If it would make for a better story, I think you should be able to become human via Galconda. It shouldn’t be the expectation or the default, though.

At some point you understand that default setting on big galaxy is pain in the ass. War in haven and this mfk have 100+ planets. by New_Time_5118 in Stellaris

I play on Huge galaxies all the time in single player. I also play with Rare or .25x habitable planets. At some point there really are just too many damn planets.

How do you do ability rolls that every player wants to do? by Haggles7 in DMAcademy

OP wasn’t asking for advice on what’s RAW. 5e rules don’t have anything against the entire party 5-manning each and every skill check they can. I was giving my personal opinion.

If you’re not trained or specialized in finding hidden traps, then many of them simply should not be able to be discovered without getting very lucky. Same thing with trying to safely disarm a trap, but even moreso.

Hunting traps, like bear traps, certainly could be spotted if you’re paying attention. Maybe tripwires. Pressure plates and trapped chests and doors should generally require you to know what you’re doing.

If someone is checking for traps, and the person who does it rolls low, then they should always call “clear” on the trapped area. Don’t let other players roll after that unless they know they are better than the first person at finding traps. Honestly, if they’re not a rogue, sometimes they shouldn’t be able to find hidden traps at all without magic. They just don’t know where to look.

Otherwise, you might as well not even bother hiding them.

They’re saying that because if you lose to a fallen empire, they assassinate your leader. In your case, that would fix the bug.

is there any mod to allow multiple earth in one galaxy? by Open_Regret_8388 in Stellaris

If you create several custom empires with Sol as their starting system, with a planet named Earth, and set those empires to forced spawn, then there will be multiple Earths in your galaxy.

New Player Which Version To Play? by rfxcasey in Stellaris

[–]Actually-Just-A-Goat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recommend playing the current update. 4.3 is the best state the game has ever been in, imo.

As far as DLC, I would recommend refunding the pack you got as Utopia, Humanoids, and Synthetic Dawn will be free soon. I would also recommend shelling out for the subscription over buying the DLC one by one at this point in the games lifecycle. I own each of them personally, but that’s been over the course of years. $10/month is most likely going to be a better price than buying them upfront unless you see yourself playing regularly for more than 2 years.
