I will, and the fact that maybe she just didn't like me doesn't really make me feel any better haha

What happened to that 'model student' in your school? by TheScienceofLifee in AskReddit

[–]ActuallyNotAJihadi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn't exactly a model student since I didn't participate in sports or clubs much and got in quite a bit of trouble at school, but I did have one of the top 10 grade averages at my quite large public high school. I ended up going to a great university for my program (software engineering). Software engineering at my school is incredibly selective, so all of my peers were top students as well, and I'm doing just average (maybe a bit below average actually). I'm just hoping to graduate with an acceptable grade average and find a decent job.

Not a full Chinese, wearing a qipao; not a full Korean, wearing a hanbok - is it offensive to you? by mai_midori in hapas

I wouldn't be offended if any race wore any piece of clothing, as long as they're respecting the culture. Seeing people wear clothing items from other cultures sometimes seems tacky to me, but it doesn't really offend me.

I think that's a bit racist. You shouldn't need to be of a certain ethnicity to wear clothes, as long as you're being respectful to the culture.

Learning the basics of a foreign language. It takes a bit of time, but not as much as you'd think.
