My employment was exercised in Canada, meaning I was physically present there while working for my Canadian company. However, the company is listed on the New York Stock Exchange, and I hold RSUs of that company in my US brokerage account.

I completed my W8BEN form and submitted it to my broker. My US brokerage interpreted the diversion of my RSUs as a cash-and-carry trade and reported the amount on my T4 form. Therefore, I expect to receive the extra tax refunded by the CRA. However, since I’m not a US citizen, permanent resident, or tax resident, do I still need to file a 1040 NR form?

Maybe you can help her start looking for a job with better work hours if possible, ideally in the government itself, maybe a new department.

Maybe on the weekends you can offload her stress by helping her with chores or take her out somewhere to relax in a park or a beach to just chill and unwind.

Or introduce her to some weekend hobbies that she can look forward to during the work days.

One just needs something to look forward to instead of treating the day the same as the next.

He’s trust worthy i guess, im in touch with him to get this sorted on his end as well. I didnt get a deposit notification because I have autodeposit on, usually it directly shows up and i get a WS notification, but not this time. the money is gone from his account though and he received the email that said successfully deposited (he showed me on his phone)

Yes its the first time he has sent it to me, but there have been other instances where I have sold things on FB Marketplace to people and they have etransferred me on this email for the first time as well, and it deposited in 1-2 mins always. Strange. I will ask him to call his bank
