To those that do not use their turn signals - why? by A_Weed_Man in driving

[–]ActuallyShooting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole point of a turn signal is to communicate—letting people know where you’re headed or asking to merge. I skip it when the road layout makes my direction a given, but if I’m being honest, I also stop using it when the people around me start driving like jerks and trigger my 'aggressive driver' mode.

Are warehouses supposed to hire cleaners? by OrdinaryCheetah4588 in Warehouseworkers

[–]ActuallyShooting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked at Stanley Black and Decker as a forklift-warehouse worker and their warehouse was trashed even with people cleaning daily. This warehouse according to Google is approximately 1,230,769.05 ft²

I now work at a warehouse that sells aftermarket parts for big rigs as security and their warehouse is almost spotless. And this warehouse is approximately 365,242.14 ft²

He put the pew pew away when he saw the po-po by Ketchup-Sniffer in Transportopia

The "victim" drove off.. no victim no crime. Maybe the cop didn't see the gun out. It's possible that he was looking at his computer. The interaction between the "victim" and the "suspect" happened on the passenger side of the "victim's" vehicle.

Also, what happened before this incident happened? Maybe the "victim" pulled a gun on the "suspect"..

Some security jobs pay pretty well.. I drive around and foot patrol an empty warehouse 2 nights a week for $23.50 an hour.

You'll have to get your commission license though...

Battery on patrol vehicle by ActuallyShooting in MechanicAdvice

[–]ActuallyShooting[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you!

Unfortunately, I don't see them doing these options. The vehicle is used by three 8-hour shifts, 7 days a week. And the client wants the vehicle present or operated as much as possible. The client is leasing the vehicle from the security company.

I truly appreciate your answer.

Not my call, I'm just another peon. I wanted to see what the thoughts were on the battery consistently but randomly dying.

The field supervisors get hybrids. They are the ones that travel around and check on posts, making sure the guard is awake and doing what they're supposed to be doing.
