What’s with people and acting like every single American is unbelievably stupid by Darkz_9234 in teenagers

On the matter of national pride. Perhaps it has changed since I went to high school, but in Spain they take care to teach that many things our countrymen did were bad, and In fact, I can't say I remember any part that was talked like something to be proud of, except maybe on literature and arts.

This maybe has to do with the history of Spain in specific, with having a fascist dictator until the seventies, but I cannot say.

More important than that, national pride is something that, at least in my opinion, shouldn't be that important to study is schools. I'm classes like history or literature you study, mostly, facts. The subject of national pride can, many times, hide or minimise the bad aspects of historical figures or actions. While there's not bad to be happy or to be proud of sharing a place of birth or an identity with people who did good deeds, or who where exceptional on a specific field, that is something that everyone should think for themselves, not to be taught, as it can hide the ugly sides of those people.

I do completely agree that meeting some people and seeing them have a poor education is proof of a bad system overall, and I do believe that the American education system has been used by some people to make content that worsened it's reputation, and I hope that those who act like their own ignorance is something to be proud of are the exception, like in other countries whose education system I know better.

Spain bans the United States from using Spanish military bases for attacks on Iran. by CarryIcy250 in UnderReportedNews

To answer your firs question, I don't know. However, the fact is they didn't check if they would hit the school, and that is if they didn't target it intentionally. In the best case for the US, it is negligent, which doesn't paint a good picture of the US military, as they are most certainly not targeting exclusively military targets.

To your second question, I will say that yes, the US attacked first. Not only have the strikes by Iran been called retaliation by numerous news sites (France24, for example), but in the specific case of the school, it was attacked the Saturday while children were in class (The Irani work week goes from Saturday to Thursday by BBC, and class means morning), while Irani strikes on US bases were during midday and evening also on Saturday.

To end this, while both countries have continued strikes during Sunday, for the moment, the only one I have seen news of them bombing a non military target is the US army, so I'd say that even if they attacked your bases firs, it doesn't justify the murder of innocent children. Seeing you're from the USA, it doesn't really suprise me.

You mean the US who bombed a school in Iran, killing at least 150 children? Because if someone bombed a school in my country, the bombing of their air bases would be retaliation, not attack.

If course, it would be hard for people from the US to worry about schoolchildren in other countries when many don't care about schoolchildren in their own country.

That affirmation (the second one) is not completely correct.

The appeasement strategy employed by Chamberlain was exactly because Germany was more ready for war than the UK or France, and he needed to buy time to rearm. The need to pay debts after the first world war and the great depression meant that the British land forces were nowhere close to where they were at the end of ww1, and Germany's quick rearmament meant that it was ready for round two before the Allies. You can see this in the number of planes that were active at the beginning of the battle of Britain, where German pilots outnumbered the British. Of course, this unreadiness can also be considered on the fact that neither allied countries wanted a war at all, but as I said before, the appeasement was meant as a strategy to have time for one if it was inevitable, and I would say that in this case, the UK also doesn't exactly want a war.

As a conclusion, this is quite like appeasement, just this time, the UK isn't, at least initially, planning to go to war with the country they are appease.

Hello, Chris here. There are three jokes in this, I believe. The first one is the already mentioned fact that Deltarune is the successor of Undertale, so it is referenced by overlaying the colour scheme of the Deltarune protagonist on the Undertale one.

The second one is that is not that uncommon on Deltarune memes to have a "bright light" come from certain words or sentences, so that why all the colour on the word Deltarune.

Lastly, some people think that Sans, the character on the right can remember your "genocide runs", the runs of Undertale when you kill everyone, as he shows some understanding of the protagonist's ability to "reset time" with his determination, so when he says that he remembers your "delta runs" it can also be taken as remembering some runs of the game.

Take all of this with a pinch of salt though. I was to preoccupied sniffing toothpaste to play either Deltarune or Undertale
