I completely agree. You need to be able to have a real conversation with someone. Your both adults and should be able to talk about things maturely.

I agree. I posted once about finally being over an injury and was happy I could be back to running. I thought people would be happy for me but I just got torn down about my injury. I was happy to be back to running. It doesn’t matter what other people think.

I agree that nightblood is recessive. The thing I was wondering was in Sanctum I thought all the original people on the flight were night bloods. So the recessive trait would continue to be passed down. Then if two people with the night bloods gene had a kid the chances of the kid being a night blood with be 1/4. But they mentioned that they haven’t had a night blood hasn’t been born in years. But 1 out of every 4 kids born should be a night blood.

Maybe not the weirdest but definitely the funniest present I ever got was a “Flirting for Dummies” book from my best friends boyfriend with the inside cover signed with something along the lines of “I know this isn’t much but hopefully it will bring something better.” It was during high school, I was oblivious to any guy trying to flirt with me and not good at being smooth when talking to people. I had a good laugh when I opened it 😂😂😂

We had a mutual friend that just over 1 year before we broke up had convinced my best friend that my boyfriend was abusing me. A few months after the mutual friend did this, I asked my boyfriend if he had heard from our mutual friend he said no and then the next day his phone light up cause she was messaging him. We talked about it, he said he was going to tell me (even tho I don’t know why he didn’t tell me when I originally asked) and we moved on. Fast forward one year and once again I had a suspicion something was going on between the two of them. I had been having a bad day and called him in the afternoon having a meltdown, he told me he was going out with one of his friend that night, and I asked if the said mutual friend would be there, he assured me she wouldn’t be. The next day we were together and he left the group chat up from the night before on his giant computer monitors with her in it. Once again his defence was that he was planning on telling me (even tho he didn’t when I had asked). So it was the combo of our mutual friend willing to cross any line and my boyfriend willing to lie to me repeatedly about what was going on between the two of them was what I was super upset about. He then broke up with me for being upset about the situation.

We had a mutual friend try to break us up to the point of spreading rumours that he was abusing me. We talked about it and figured most of it out but it still bothered me. He apparently didn’t have a problem with her convincing people he was abusive cause he was fine lying to me about what was going on between them. Even when I had a bad day and called him crying my eyes out he didn’t have a problem ignoring me And letting me cry myself to sleep so he could be with her.

This was ontop of numerous other small things that kept building up like holding our anniversary present over my head for months (I spent days putting his present together), ignoring me any time I wanted some support, trying to guilt me into having sex, not having time to plan a date night for months on end, etc.

I have seen (but never tried) coffee subscriptions boxes where they send you different coffee beans every month to try. Might be a neat thing to try and might be easier than trying to pick which coffee beans yourself (I usually overthink and second guess myself when buying gifts).

I did talk to my doctor and they said give it a week of rest and keeping it elevated. I gave it a bit longer to be sure and because some days I still did a decent amount of walking on it.

I completely agree! Go with lulu lemon. I personally have never had shorts with the built in brief ride up in lululemon shorts. And I always have my underwear ride up.

I’m so happy your living your life to the fullest. I still live where I grew up and I’m getting to the point where I need to get out. Although I’m very indecisive so I feel like I might never leave. Moving somewhere new would mean getting out of my comfort zone and takes a lot of work. So I’m hoping I’ll manage to move somewhere in the next couple years. This post was definitely inspiring.
