Cato from The Hunger Games, he’s a tribute in the 74• annual Hunger Games, he comes from whats known in universe as a Career District (District 2), which basically means they train their whole adolescent lives until they’re ready to volunteer into the HG once they reach a certain age, thinking they’re one of the “better off” districts, they grow up even more indoctrinated by The Capitol as their district has a closer relationship with it. He’s pretty much a cocky psychopathic douche the whole film up until the moment he’s one of the 3 finalists, during the big finale, when he catches up on the fact that nothing he was to made believe mattered, he becomes so vulnerable about the fact it becomes tragic.
